Poles were easy to cut and make the right size for my tent. Does the job.

not ideal for pup tent, had to adapt
no where could i find replacement poles for a Coleman outdoor pup tent, the ones new broke w/in a week, so after searching reviews on amazon i took a chance on these. they were too long just all the others I ordered and had to return, but in my frustration I bent two of the pole links together to shorten and stuck them inside the fabric pole holder to make do. Will they stay and work long term - don't know. But at least for the moment they are holding.

Perfect for my use
I replaced the fiberglass poles on my canopy with these and they work perfectly and no fiberglass slivers!!

Used with rain poncho for quick tent
I removed 1 section of each support, cut 1 of those in half and reinstalled the half sections. Works great with my milspec rain poncho for fast concealment from weather and opposing forces. Enough room for a 6 foot individual using these supports. Twist the poncho hood and tie off with hood draw string. PONCHO NOT INCLUDED-MUST PURCHASE SEPARATELY. I've tested and it works. You will need red electrical connectors to use as feet for the poles to set into the poncho grommets.
