It really works!
Put it under my simplehuman trash can and it stays in place even weeks later after every day use. My garbage can used to end up practically in the middle of the kitchen it used to move so much! Not anymore

Not just for under the trashcan
Being made of silicone, this mat is definitely durable and easy to clean, and fits perfectly under my kitchen trash can. It is not 100% non-slip but it helps with that a lot on my tile floor. The textured mat and raised edge could also make this ideal to use in a mud-room or entry way to set wet shoes or a wet umbrella on to dry since it is non-porous (the description says it holds up to 4 cups of water). I'm only giving 4 and not 5 stars however because the mat is, in my opinion, a little pricey, but it does have a number of uses and will most likely last a very long time.
