I have been using these for these pruning shears for about nine months. I really appreciate the power that they have to cut through larger branches as well as smaller ones. Using them for pruning to deadheading flowers.I have used them this winter for all of my fruit tree pruning as well as my shrubs. They seem to be very good quality. I have been able to use these for extended periods of time even with the arthritis in my hands. The shape of the handle makes them easier to use. The lock mechanism has worked well for keeping them closed and allows for them to take up a smaller space in my tool drawer. I have not had to sharpen them yet but feel that they will be pretty easy to sharpen.

Cuts wonderfully Would have liked it sized for a woman’s hand spread. However shouldn’t deter from purchasing.

Must Have!!! If you have a weak grip, arthritis in your hands or just need a reliable pair of pruning shears these are the Best! I’ve bought this same pruning shears for years and wouldn’t buy any others.

I am a large woman taller than average but not super tall and my hands are not small my fingers are quite long. These trimmers do not open the blade wide enough to cut a good thick stem. They may work better for tea roses but you do have to open your grip so wide that you are almost about to drop the grips to get it on the stem. That makes your hand shaky and sloppy while cutting because you are awkwardly balancing the grips to get them around the stem. That does not make for enjoyable gardening. Now if you are a very large man (built like a football player) your hands might easily widen enough. Think Brian Shaw or Eddie Hall. Pass on this one ladies unless you are a big and tall gal with great hands. They're metal and seem decent. Just poor design for the average person. Fantastic for pro athlete types and bodybuilders that need bigger stuff. As far as quality.....I don't trust it. It's hard to say but it didn't seem to cut very well. Now that can be remedied by sharpening the blade but that is a skill I do not have. Could be great needs rework on the design and sharper blades. I loved the rings around the grip. that was useful in keeping large thorny branches away from my rose gloves as an added protection.

Works surprisingly well. At first glance I was not impressed. Was going to return them. I thought no was is this gonna do the job. I had bought 2 pairs. Today I used one pair they are fabulous. I garden alot my hands aren’t as strong as they used to be. They did a nice clean cut! These are a keeper and will probably buy 2 more pairs. Really strong. Nice on the hands. Fit well. Just really nice.

These shears are fantastic!! They cut very easy and a great value for the price!! I was very please that I was able to cut easily through some decent size birds of palm leaves

Fast shipping. OK deal. Twigs the size of a pencil require more than one squeeze. Not very ideal if you have a lot of trimming. Thr cam action just doesnt make the cut the first time. They cut branches the size of a quarter but occasionally with more effort than should be necessary. I dont think these are best out there.

Really very excellent pair of pruning shears, especially for those of us with arthritis in our hands. I cleaned up a tangled mess in my backyard without a single thing of pain and I didn’t have to use a drop of oil.
