Excellent beginner bat
Excellent beginner bat. Bought for my teenage son because he's shown an interest. Good allround bat. Plenty of speed and spin for a beginner. The bribar winning loop has Excellent control so it allows him to have lots of control to do the shots correctly. Highly recommend.

Good all rounder
If you are looking for a slower bat with control and spin this bat should suit you. On the other hand, if you are a more competitive player and need to play fast shots it might slow down your game. Otherwise, it's a good all-rounder for those wishing to improve their game.

Great beginner’s bat
Having taken up table tennis socially, I needed to buy myself a bat. I’ve been really impressed with this Bribar - comfortable, accurate and forgiving ie the bat absorbs some of the energy/spin. I’m not that skilled yet, so tend to concentrate on an accurate return, whilst my opponents are trying out all kinds of fancy spin/smashes. It also comes with a handy case with a compartment for a couple of table tennis balls.

Good bat, gets dirty quickly so might be worth getting a cleaning kit at the same time. Good balanced amount of ping and spin.great starter bat

Would not recommend
Commenting as a novice, this table tennis bat looked of reasonable quality and performed fine. However after 10 months the head came away from the handle.Unfortunately, the supplier, Bribar Table Tennis inform me the manufacturer will not replace a bat after 10 months.Consider whether the current retail price of £49 is good value when deciding to purchase.

Poor quality on this bat - now snapped after 8 months
Disappointed that the handle has snapped off the bat after only 8 months use.It started getting loose after 7 months occasional use and has now come apart completely.No option to return it, even though I thought that there should be a 12 month warranty on non-accidental damage or poor workmanship.
