Love, love, love this! My favorite pillow now. When it is brand new there is a bit of a chemical smell, but that goes away quickly. This pillow can be molded and fluffed and adjusted to whatever sleeping position you want. You can fill it as much or as little as you want. It is so comfortable. I've had mine for years, and recently bought another. Highly recommend.

This is pillow perfection for a person who has spent a fortune on pillows! On the day that I opened the package, I was having severe neck pain and a headache. I decided to lie down for a while to try to ease it. Sometimes I can’t even stand for my head to touch a pillow when I’m like this. I opened the package and removed the pillow. I didn’t like the way it smelled, but it wasn’t exceptionally strong. Followed recommendation to put it in the dryer with dryer sheets. I put the “cooling” pillow cover in the dryer, too. There’s also a “warm” pillow cover. Ran the dryer 20 minutes. Removed it and the smell was gone and it was perfectly lofty and fluffy. When I pressed on the pillow, it seemed soft, but firm enough to not collapse under the weight of my head. Then I lay down on the pillow and was amazed at the perfect comfort! I didn’t need to add any of the additional fill that comes with it, so I’m glad to have that for later. Until I fell asleep, all I could think about was how comfortable and soothing this pillow is. It didn’t heal me, but allowed me perfect comfort and relief while laying on it. I very highly recommend this pillow and am shocked that it doesn’t cost 3x what I paid for it. This is an amazing value. EDITED TO ADD: I’ve been using this pillow for some time now and love it even more than when I first received it. I’ve just ordered 2 more. One to give as a gift and a spare for myself, “just in case”. This really is an amazing pillow. I’ve added the additional fiber filling and it’s just perfect. Firm but gives, doesn’t fold in and crush or smother my face. Never goes flat. As a chronic neck pain sufferer, it’s been an answer to all of my pillow needs. My closets are filled with expensive pillows that I only used a short time.

Don't worry about the smell mentioned in other reviews - just air it out before use and it's fine. You can adjust this pillow to whatever firmness you want. I have suboccipital (neck) pain, migraines, and shoulder pain. I was desperate for a new pillow after an ER visit for locked up neck and shoulder muscles. Don't overcomplicate it by buying weirdly shaped pillows claiming to solve your neck pain. Just buy this, and adjust it to whatever works for you. The pair of queen sized pillows is an excellent deal. The removable cover is very soft and silky. It's a little tough to stuff your marshmallow of a pillow into it, but it does help it hold its shape, which I was worried about when I removed the case for airing it out. The removable case should make it easy to clean. My queen pillow case is a touch short. My husband and I both removed a fair amount of stuffing and still feel like we need to remove more - especially me, as I like a fairly soft pillow. At this rate, we could make a third pillow. Great support for my neck, with enough give that it doesn't create pressure on the wrong areas. Feels like a high quality pillow to me. Due to the moldable nature of the pillow, I can stuff some to either side so I have space for my shoulder as a side sleeper without an expensive crescent shaped pillow.

First I have to say that I LOVE this pillow. I have several of the coop home goods pillows and have loved them, but after a year they were going flat, and not wanting to fork out another $100 for a pillow I searched and searched and came across this Phantoscope pillow and decided to give it a shot. I got my first one on Dec 7 '22 and after adding in some of the extra stuffing it came with it was PERFECT! Sleeps like a dream and BETTER than my previous pillow that cost twice as much. For the record I am a slightly fluffy mid 40's woman with broad shoulders, slide sleeper and going though menopause, so I tend to sleep HOT. I also have back and neck issues so my pillow being just right is VERY important. I am looking for a pillow with enough support for when I am on my side, and with enough loft that it won't go flat in the middle of the night. I also don't want it to make my head hot. This one doesn't make me hot and it gets cool really easy, so in the middle of the night if I flip it over the other side is nice and COLD!!! it's pretty wonderful. NOW.... when you unpack the pillow your first reaction will be Oh HECK NO.... it's flat and immense disappointment. REALLY, REALLY, REALLY FLAT and you think there is NO way it's going to fluff up enough. I let my 1st one sit out of it's packaging for about 4 hours and it was still flat as a pancake, so I tossed it in the dryer on low for about 45 mins (the packaging said 10 mins, and that wasn't enough, I'm guessing because it had been compressed for so long) but after 45 it was all poofy and MUCH better. I still needed to add some stuffing (about 1/2) of the extra that they sent me for it to be PERFECT. I slept on my new pillow for a week and went ahead and ordered a 2nd so I'd have it when I needed it (because we all know that memory foam goes flat after about a year). Well, my adult daughter came over and was saying that she needed a new pillow and I just had to show her my new favorite and away it went. LOL She loves it as well!! She too had to add some of the extra stuffing, but I was so happy I had something that she needed and that she loves it as much as I do. SO that leaves me here and WHY did I deduct 1 STAR if the pillow is so great??? Well, since I'd given away my spare pillow I obviously needed to replace it (because when I need a new one I need it now and can't wait to find another one) I went ahead and ordered a new one and LO AND BEHOLD, the pack of 2 pillows was on sale, so OBVIOUSLY I'd get 2!!! GREAT DEAL or was it???? My pillows came today and unlike the pillow I'd ordered previously, these did NOT come with extra stuffing at all, nor did they come with the 2 separate pillow covers (one for hot and one for cold), even though they were pictured in the listing. So despite the fact that I have 2 pillows, I really one have one because I will have to take some stuffing from 1 to add to the other to make it lofty enough for my broad shoulders. Leaving the 2nd pillow useless as a pillow and only good for the stuffing. So that's a little disappointing. It's a GREAT pillow though. I have tried them all, from $200 pillows down to $10 pillows, you name it I've tried it. Just remember don't judge it when it comes out of the packaging, you have to throw it in the dryer for a long time! I love it so much that once this review is written I'm goin to go ahead and order another single so I have some extra stuffing.
