Pretty strong scent and leaves a waxy residue you can feel while still wet in the shower but skin is soft once it dries, not sure if it's coating skin with wax though which I'm not a fan of.

I was excited to try this soap because it’s made of natural ingredients, vegan, and cruelty free — all good things I’m trying to incorporate more of into my skincare routine! It has a mild but pleasant scent (not overpowering like I feel is typical of something with turmeric). The soap doesn’t lather super well, but gives more of a creamy foam. It feels a little waxy going on, but it doesn’t leave behind a residue and it leaves my skin feeling more moisturizer than other bar soaps I’ve tried. The soap leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, but it is simultaneously soothing and works well with my sensitive skin. It’s a little pricey at $10 for a single bar, but it’s a nice splurge once in awhile.

This soap bar has a pleasant citrus scent with other miscellaneous milder scents mixed in. It smells amazingly good. I do not know how they manage to pick out all the different ingredients and put them together to make such a nice scent but it works and I like that the fragrances are all natural. There is something to be said about a company using natural and organic ingredients and according to their label this product is Cosmos Organic. I like the properties of the ingredients too like Tea Tree oil that even kills bacteria.There are plenty of oils in this handmade bar along with Shea butter. It does not dry out my skin like other similar bars of soap I have used. Instead my skin is clean and smooth. Not necessarily soft but smooth and I feel clean when I use it.This soap is priced way out of my normal budget. I would normally pay a quarter of the price or less for a bar of soap. So it is not something I would use for everyday. For me its a luxury item to use on my face or once in a while to bathe with. I would use it sparingly. But if you have the means and want to take good care of your skin this I think this is a very good soap to have on hand. It could also be a nice treat for someone that you want to make feel special.

I have sensitive skin and it flares up at random moments but it seemed to have help a little but which I appreciate.

The scent of this soap is very enjoyable. I had taken it out of the box and put it in my bathroom, and I could smell it next time I entered the bathroom.It's obvious that this soap is all natural. Even if it wouldn't say it on the package, I'd still know that it is natural. It mentions that it is certified organic. Anyone can put organic on a product, but when a product says certified organic, it is just that, so it can be trusted.The fact that it is not tested on animals is very much welcomed in my animal loving household!I like both, the scent and the feel this soap leaves. It's a nice soap bar all around.The soap bar has a freshness date that is about two years into the future.

This soap has a light but refreshing scent. It lathers up really well and doesn't leave a film behind on your skin. Its very moisturizing and leaves a light scent on your skin. I plan to continue using this and hope for ongoing good results.

This is my third bar of soap from The Soap Factory, & I really like this brand’s limited ingredient handmade soaps! This particular bar is an herbal formula, and has a fresh scent that is appropriate for both men & women. It has citronellol in it, which has a grassy, citrus scent, as well as turmeric, lavender oil, geranium oil, & calendula. Soap Factory bars lather well, & leave the skin feeling clean & refreshed. While they are a bit pricey for a single bar of soap, keep in mind that this is a handmade, organic product imported from Europe, thus the higher cost is to be expected when compared to lesser quality drugstore brands.

I like to have bar soap for camping trips so I grabbed this one to try out. I like it a lot, the scent is different than what I'm used to and really pleasant. It also didn't leave my skin feeling dried out which bar soap rather than gel often feels like it does. It doesn't lather as well as other bars of soap but it does still leave me clean and for camping I actually kind of like that.
