bringing resident evil back to what it should be!
Absolutely brilliant game bringing the resident evil series back from their new run and gun style of gameplay, to a slow paced and intense thriller that, I for one, have enjoyed every minute of! The the main thing that impressed me about the game is the ingenious raid mode. Instead of trying to survive wave after wave of enemies, raid mode is about working your way through a stage (alone or with a partner) and trying to kill all the bad guys on your way through the stage, or just trying to survive ... The gameplay of the main story (disappointingly) isn't multiplayer, but the gameplay itself is fun, and makes you fight using the resources at your disposal to make your way through the bone-chilling revelation that the game is based around. I would say that this game is well worth the buy from any resident evil fan, or just people that enjoy games with a twist!

Very good game
Very good game. plenty of action to keep you occupied for a long time. This is one of the much better resident evil games, I have always been a big fan of the resident evil series ever since it first came out on the ps1 in the late 90"s. This is one of the best horror, action and adventure games [along with it"s predecessors like resident evil 2 and 4 on the ps1 and ps2] If you love these kind of games [as i do, along with the silent hill series] then i am sure this one will not disappoint you.

Not a great game...
Unfortunately the reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the AI of your protagonists partner and the zombies is dreadful! It's so frustrating at times. In RE5 or RE6 your partner was very helpful, caused some damage to the zombies/creatures, helped you out if a zombie had you in its grasp, even revived you, Revelations has none of that. In fact it's so bad that zombies ignore your protagonists partner and go straight for you! Also, it's not graphically impressive, I know this game was originally made for the WiiU and 3DS without the Xbox360 or PS3 in mind but is the WiiU really this powerless? In my experience the AI really showed its problems on the first boss battle, you have to go up against 5/6 normal zombies while fighting a merciless boss! For most of the battle my partner would just stand pointing his gun and not do anything, maybe fire his weapon every now and then but cause no major damage to any of the zombies. He didn't even help while a zombie grabbed my protagonist, he just stood there. Overall it's not a great game, It's an ok game but not great. I can't really say if I would recommend this to anyone really, hopefully Revelations 2 on PS4 is much better, especially when it comes to the AI as I am planning on picking a copy up for myself at some point, I can't see it being a disappointment since it was developed for the next gen consoles, the graphics look so much better!

At last
It is quite typical for Nintendo to get one or two games that completely fly in the face of their standard cheery output. Nothing wrong with cheery, of course, but Resident Evil: Revelations stands out like a decaying thumb on the 3DS when surrounded by the all too predictable Mario remakes, rehashes and cash-ins. Indeed, when I owned a 3DS Resident Evil: Revelations was one of the very few reasons I had for owning one. So, when I sold said hand-held, I did so with sadness, thinking I might never get to see the rest of this excellent title, having only played the first few hours. I wouldn't miss Mario, Luigi, Link or anyone else, but Resident Evil I would. Happily, RE is back where it belongs - on grown up consoles with an audience who actually deserve some old skool Resident Evil. Yes, deserve, because it waas they who made RE a success in the first place. Like many others, the huge numbers of whom Capcom are seemingly oblivious, I sorely miss the days of the first three Resident Evils on the Playstation, and Code Veronica on Dreamcast. And what the hell had Nintendo or their entourage of cuteness enthusiasts ever done to deserve Remake and RE Zero on the Gamecube? It was, and is, plain wrong. Then the years began to roll by and RE got progressively less and less like RE and more and more like Die Hard with monsters. Capcom increasingly lost their way. RE4 was good, but not Resident Evil. RE5 was okay, but not Resident Evil. RE6... you get the picture. In RE6 Leon Kennedy is back! Err... but that's not Leon, it's just some guy with the same name. The real Leon, like Jill, Chris and Claire, prowls and hobbles around the barren corridors and deserted streets of Raccoon City, popping off shots against slowly lumbering zombies and associated monstrosities. What he and his allies don't do is fly kick mutations in the face while delivering snappy one-liners. But now we have a safe refuge away from all of that inappropriate brashness and trashiness. Once more we can amble down hallways listening out for telltale signs of the undead, while a creepy ambient soundtrack ramps up the foreboding. And it's not on a tiny screen with your face reflecting back at you, either. Will Capcom take any notice of how glad we are to have OUR Resident Evil back, or will RE7 continue to be just another average action game with monsters in? Sadly, I predict the latter. Still, we will have this.

Resident Evil at its best!
This is what a proper Resident Evil game should be all about: survival horror, puzzles, zombies and creatures. Graphics are alright, considering that this is a pumped porting from the original 3DS games: don't expect PS3/360 best graphics ever, also because you don't really need it. So the game is graphically beautiful and technically well done. Nothing to complain about it. This is a must have for all of you guys who know how a proper Resident Evil should be: you won't be disappointed at all.

Servizio amazon efficiente come sempre
