Great for cutting
Looks medieval but works a treat with the multi tool

Great tool!!!
Used in my Dewalt to cut up wool house carpet removed by fitters; some was wet after a couple of nights. One blade did all the carpet from a 5 bedroom house and flew through it like a knife through butter. With one edge of the blade for pull cuts and the other for push cuts. The secret was not allowing the carpet going slack.Using this blade is far safer than a Stanley Knife.

Works great
I didn't buy this from Amazon but ... I'm very surprised at the one-star reviews here. Having read them I was rather wary of this blade but at less than £6 it seemed a decent gamble; I've never yet bought a DeWalt tool that's anywhere near complete rubbish. From material I've tried so far I think this works really well.As other reviewers point out, the two small curves on each side are the cutting surfaces, and though they do have an edge they are not very sharp. I assume it relies more on the friction combined with the high frequency oscillation of the multi-tool to do the work. I've used this on a Dewalt DCS355M1-GB 18V Li-Ion Cordless Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool and it easily and cleanly cuts (not tears) through carpet and thick cardboard (imagine manually trying to cut thick card with a blunt knife - it just doesn't work). You need to keep tension in the material (e.g. holding carpet away from you as you cut in the other direction) and just apply pressure to the point that it starts to cut; it will then work through nicely.A really handy blade to have in the toolkit.

Didn’t seem to work
Didn’t seem to be as efficient or effective as a knife. I was cutting bask shingle felt for a shed. Blade constantly clogged up with tar and was slower than a Stanley knife with a hook blade. I won’t be buying again

Litteraly Useless
Wow this is absolutely useless! I used this on a Fein 350 (a very good multi tool) and this will not cut carpet AT ALL. Im pretty handy and know how to use tools like this but its complete rubbish. Please dont waste your money. I have not tried this on any other material but its not at all sharp so dont hold out any hope.SoIts not sharpThe shape is terrible for this type of work. Only the small knives are cutting faces (not sharp though) the long curve is not a cutting edge
