DMS400 - Micro Audio Kit

Great product. I have bought three of these kits now and very happy with the performance. Very clear instructions supplied. Cable length for the sensors was easily sufficient. I find the reversing sensor is a bit to loud for my preference, so I simply applied a bit of tape over a few of the sensor buzzer holes. Although not cheap, it is a very good product and worth the money. The only important job to do is to accurately / symmetrically mark out the holes in your bumper prior to cutting the holes. I used masking tape to mark out all the positions.

Product was easy to install if instructions are followed carefully - lots of vids on youtube to follow too. The fiddly bit is finding suitable paths to route the cables back to control unit. That's not a problem with the product and every car will vary - just spend time working out your route first. The setup works perfectly and comes on when I put the car into reverse - you get a short bleep to tell you it's on. Then as you's expect it start bleeping and becoming more frequent the closer you get to an object. No problems with false detections or not detecting objects at all so my bumpers are now bump and scratch free. I highly recommend paying that little bit extra for the Dolphin set as the quality is good, installation straightforward and it just works as it should do - every time.

Unbelievable as to how easy it is to fit these if you follow the instructions. I had my doubts but these are excellent. Installed them myself and I am no mechanic so I'm well pleased with this product

After purchasing a Renault Kadjar without reversing sensors, these seemed like an ideal solution. I went to install these but soon realised that I wouldn't be able to use the equipment provided. My reversing sensor light is in the boot of the car and needed to be connected through the whole boot door and into my actual boot. The length of the wire was only long enough to go through the door and sit on the top of my boot meaning it would have been completely visible from the inside of the car. For a car without this issue, I think the product would be great but would avoid if your reversing sensors are in the boot door. The instructions are also a bit confusing and don't explain how to complete a few steps so online guides are helpful to use instead

Installed these over the holiday to my Peugeot 208. As long as care is taken upon measures to bumper and some pre planning ie wire entry to boot then it was all in all very easy to install and work perfectly.

montati pochi giorni fa, funzionano regolarmente. facili da installare anche se le istruzioni sono in inglese. rapporto qualitò/prezzo buono , ci sono di piu economici ma a me servivano di colore bianco per cui ho risparmiato a comperare una bomboletta di vernice

Für den Preis kann man nicht meckern. Die Montage wird nach Automarke mehr oder weniger kompliziert sein. Bei unseren Golf 4 war sie einfach.

Appena montati. Per adesso 5 stelle perchè funzionano alla grande. I materiali sembrano buoni e la lunghezza dei cavi è generosa. Io gli ho montati su una Ford b max ed i fili dei sensori sono risultati tutti più lunghi. Anche il cicalino ha un filo bello lungo. Il filo dell'alimentazione è il più corto degli altri ma è lungo abbastanza per effettuare il cablaggio. Il kit è completo di fresa per fare i fori al paraurti ed eventualmente al pianale dell'auto per fare entrare i fili. Il suono del cicalino è forte e si sente anche se installato nel bagagliaio. Costano di più degli altri in commercio ma vale la pena spendere di più per avere un prodotto con una qualitá più alta e garanzia a vita dato che è un accessorio che deve durare nel tempo. Aggiornamento. Paragonandoli a quelli di serie di qualsiasi auto risultano meno reattivi ed affidabili. Sotto la pioggia non funzionano molto bene: il cicalino emette il bip intermittente in continuazione come, se i sensori leggessero un ostacolo distante un metro, e a volte emette il bip continuo rendendo il sistema inutilizzabile. Si attenua di poco il problema regolando la sensibilitá al minimo. Bisogna "familiarizzare" con i segnali acustici, una volta fatto, ci si riesce a fidare un po' di più con il tutto e ad utilizzarli al meglio. Consiglio di effettuare le manovre di parcheggio molto lentamente per dare tempo al sistema di rilevare e reagire.
