Biggest disappointment.
i really wanted to love this book and yet i got let down so hard.i want to start off by saying that the eden series is one of my favorite comfort reads of all time. all of the characters and their stories live in my head rent free. unfortunately, this one didn’t meet the same expectations.the character development wasn’t there for jasper or eloise. it may have had potential, but the story was rushed in the end. i didn’t love them starting out and i didn’t love them in the end either. eloise fell flat out of all the siblings so far. she kept avoiding and putting off all of her problems. i wanted her to stand up for herself more. jasper kept way too many secrets to himself (tell her about the freaking wedding band!!!!) and he never got true closure from his past.also that wedding…there was not enough drama. there needed to be more pettiness. more speaking out from their side. they got bullied and did NOTHING. my blood was b o i l i n gthis was too much trauma dumping and not enough character building. it felt unfinished.lastly, i was not here for the eden family slander that was coming from jasper. the most unappealing thing a man child could do. 😩what i did love was seeing the rest of the siblings + their partners again and how their lives have progressed throughout. i’m really hoping that crimson river gives me the butterflies that i had with the previous books, but until then, jasper vale did not deserve to have his name as the title of this book.

Yes, so much yes!
We get a sneak peek at the end of Garnet Flats of the situation in this book, and I was a little worried about how I was going to feel. We find out about Lyla‘s crush on Jasper, but Eloise and Jasper got married in Vegas?! My heart couldn't take it. Luckily, we get more details of the Vegas night in this one from their point of view. These two had a rocky road, but I fell for them more and more as a story went on. This one definitely had me anxious as hell, and I didn’t feel like everything would go right for them. I was thoroughly impressed by how Devney Perry took a story that had me really questioning the couple, to a place where I knew that they were perfect for each other. It sure it helps that Jasper is a hot male lead in those spicy scenes. Their chemistry is off the charts! And the way he speaks to her *FANS SELF* I am here for it all. On top of the spicy stuff, Jasper has amazing depth to him. While he wouldn't open up at first, and that made me lose hope for the relationship, I think it was really satisfying when he finally did after being so closed off for a lot of the story.I think it’s also great that we get to experience both these character's families, because they are very different. Readers get to see the growth of both Jasper and Eloise, as they learn to see each other’s parents in a more realistic view that isn't based on their own experience. This adds another layer to the story that made me believe in their growth together that solidified their relationship.I have sincerely loved this whole series. I love the Edens. I am so looking forward to Lyla‘s book, because I love her and she definitely deserves the best. Plus, we get to see more Mateo in this book, and I’m excited to get to know him better. I want to know why he's back!

The Edens are my favorite! Another excellent story!
Jasper Vale is the fourth book in The Edens series. I wasn't sure how I felt about Eloise's character in the books leading up to hers, however; I shouldn't have worried. She was not the weak and naive woman that I expected her to be at all. She was very much her own woman with a successful career, but she had a softness to her that I adored. She didn't feel like being emotional was weak and she felt deeply for those close to her. All of her made the perfect match for Jasper, since he was basically her complete opposite. It was so refreshing to see their relationship grow.Jasper grew up without a lot of love and avoids emotional attachments. He comes across with a hard exterior that doesn't seem to fit with Eloise's soft personality, however; sometimes opposites make the perfect match. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. The character development in Jasper was beautiful to experience and these two were the perfect combination. I flew through this book and couldn't put it down until I was finished. The ending even consisted of a surprising shock that was completely unexpected but added a great deal of excitement. I loved this story so much and judging from the sneak peek of the next book in this series, I'm going to be counting down the days waiting for the next Eden to fall in love!

Eloise + Jasper = Sweet & Spicy!

And it's freaking amazing! Not only is the spice top notch, but the entire story will have you binging this book!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀What do you do in Vegas? Get married of course! That's what Eloise Eden and Jasper Vale did after a celebratory night in Vegas.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀It's no secret that I absolutely love the Eden family and the small town of Quincy, Montana. Like seriously can this be a real place because I want to stay at the Eloise Inn & eat Knox's food & have Lyla's coffee.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀While this marriage might have started after a drunken night in Vegas, there was nothing fake about their chemistry. There was no question that Eloise and Jasper, despite their opposite personalities, would end up together. No matter how much they tried to fight it, their chemistry pulled them together.𝙴𝚕𝚘𝚒𝚜𝚎 𝙴𝚍𝚎𝚗 𝚘𝚠𝚗𝚎𝚍 𝚖𝚎. 𝙸 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚠𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗. 𝙸 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚍 𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚒𝚗 𝚊 𝚠𝚊𝚢 𝙸 𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚗’𝚝 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠𝚗 𝚎𝚡𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚍. I loved every second I got spent in Quincy with the Edens and their amazing partners.𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚:💒Small Town Romance💒Broody, Damaged Hero💒Marriage of (in)Convenience💒Sweet, Passionate, Hardworking Heroine💒Romantic Suspense💒Fake Relationship/Marriage𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: 4.5⭐️
