How heavy are they? Could they be used as bookends?

Weighed one of them on kitchen scales 383 grammes. Tried to use them as bookends with just 4 books. It didn't work. They do look pretty cool as ornaments though!

Could i use these as pattern weights for dress making?

Yes . A heavy weight but corners are a little sharp but nothing to worry about have a flat base so will be ok

on the description it says they are 2'' . These were a present for my grandson and he was delighted with them. I haven't seen them myself as they were sent abroad. Hope this helps.
