Used for hanover displays, works very well without an issue

I had previously wasted my money buying cheaper RS-232 connectors only to find that I needed 'drivers' to make them work. After many hours of online frustration, failing to find drivers that actually worked, I was forced back to Amazon's search pages. looking for a connector which would work. This one offered a 'prolific' chipset, which, I was assured, contained its own drivers. In any event, it also offered a disc with all necessary software. Spend your money wisely, buy a connector that is going to work! This one did it for me....

Very good. Works with Windows and Linux. Then bought a second one. My old one didn't work with Windows so this is more versatile.

Great product needed this to connect my laptop to my 30 year old car as none of my laptops have serial ports. Works perfectly and easy to install drivers.

Like that they light up when all is connected. Worked as they should.

I bought this cable to connect an old handheld personal organiser to a laptop to see if I could retrieve the data from it and it worked (once I had figured how to find the organiser) which was not automatically recognised being so old. Useful! ...

Unfortunately the drivers (even the latest on the manufacturers website https://sabrent.com/pages/support#Downloads) only mentions up to Catalina 10.15. So had to return the product. Install error is "System Extension Blocked A program tried to load new system extension(s) signed by "Prolific Technology Inc." that need to be updated by the developer." I believe the issue is more around Apple locking down their operating system, rather than a faulty product. So the manufacturer needs to either update drivers, or instruction, or make it clear on Amazon that not all Mac OS versions are supported The product itself felt good quality, so I would imagine it would be great for other operating systems

全く問題なく使えています。 よくある変換ケーブルはネジで止められない物が多いですが、この商品はしっかりねじ止めできるので、しっかりと繋がって安心感があります。

説明通りMac2012highsierraで使えました。

Works as expected, however plug has 2 female barrel threads, these can be removed with some pliers as they were interfering with the barrel threads on the device. A normal serial cable can be mated up however negating the need to remove these barrels.
