Q: Can i use in a electric stove ??

This basket is intended to be held over a direct flame. In theory, if you turned the heat up high enough on your electric burner, it would work, however you would be better off to use a cast iron skillet. The unique advantage of the basket is that it allows the flame to directly touch the coffee beans, giving it a wonderful fire-roasted flavor. If you used the radiant heat of an electric burner, there would be no special flavor; therefore using a cast iron pan would be more efficient. Stir with a wooden spoon, and keep in mind that roasting coffee puts out a LOT of smoke, especially if you are going past a light roast. With the basket, I recommend roasting outdoors over an open flame.

Q: Can you roast coffee beans in the oven

For this manual method you should keep shaking the beans over an outside heat source. I don't think an oven would work well

Fantastic entry into coffee roasting.

Arrived quicky and works well, the shape allows for good bean movement. The only criticism is that the mesh is not fine enough to stop my hob getting covered in chaff. Other than that, i reccomend this as a great entry into coffee roasting.
