My Lil Everdell | A Family Friendly Version of Everdell | Easy to Learn and Easy to Play

This mini Everdell is absolutely fantastic and fun to play! It’s absolutely beautiful just like the original and the gameplay is very easy to follow! Definitely a great deal for a smaller Everdell game.

I have had my eyes on this game for months and was waiting for a sale price before getting it. It was SO worth the wait. My girls and I LOVE it. It is so straightforward that my five year old had no issue understanding and kicked our butts the first game! Other amazing features are the quality of the pieces it comes with and the artwork is just so beautiful to look at. I highly recommend. My kids are 5 and 7 and this will be a staple for us board gamers!

We bought this game after buying the full version of Everdell. Our kids wanted to play with us but we felt they were not quite old enough to understand everything needed to master Everdell. Then we found this version, and everyone loves it! Our 7 year old picked it up quickly and does very well with the strategy. Plus, the art is fantastic! Great family game for little ones who want to learn strategy games. In a couple of years we will transition them to the full Everdell and they'll be great!

My 10 year old needed a little help, and also my 7 year old, but I think another game or two and they would get it. Great entry to learn the mechanics for when they get old enough to play the main game. Also, just great entry for kids and adults who want a lighter worker placement game. Play is over 4 rounds, and you have 3 workers (actions) to perform actions, which is mostly collecting resources, with and then you can buy one card if you can afford it. The cards can make your actions you perform better, or give you actions just for you, or just produce resources at the beginning of rounds. Winner is the one with the lost points.

This game has many of the same dynamics as the grown up everdell. As a result it’s just as fun for me as the full game. The games are quicker and I don’t have to brush up on the rules every time. And my kids love it. I recommend.

This is a fantastic game to help people get into board games or to get your children interested in the hobby. Simple enough little puzzle to spur the imagination. Love it!

The art work is beautiful. The game is really fun, played several games now - all were competitive and enjoyable! I worry about the edges of the tree building and taking apart wearing.Liked it enough to want the expansion for additional players to try at a game night.

Some kids games can feel sort of arduous to play again and again with your kids. This one I actually enjoy playing too! My 5yo needs a little guidance here and there and my 7yo does great. Plus the art is cute! I recommend, especially if you’re wanting to introduce some strategy to your kids vs just the pure luck based games.
