No idea how this has a CE mark, interferes with everything
Plus points; it works, the video quality was decent, and it only needs powered from one end.Negatives; it's completely unusable if you use anything that is susceptible to RF interference as this introduces noise across a huge range of frequencies. We tried to use it in a small local theatre and it took out all the radio mics, the wifi, and wireless lighting control. Tried it at home as well, interfered with the wifi and also with a wireless video sender a huge distance away.

Read the fine print. Must use Cat6 solid copper cable.
I use these to transmit the video from HD cameras to video television switcher. All cables are max length.Solid performance BUT you MUST use SOLID COPPER Cat6 cable to get 196' (60 meters). "Copper Clad Aluminum" (aka CCA) and/or stranded copper wire will degrade performance. Specifically, I'm using StarTech.com Cat6 Cable - CMR-Rated - 550MHZ/1Gbps Ethernet Network Cable (WIR6CMRBK)To get the full 196' distance on the proper cable, you must power it at the transmitter side. Powering it from the receiver side will reduce the total cable length you can use by 1/2.

Worked ok for short runs, but not longer ones
Worked fine with 3 metre cable, but when I tried it with a 25 metre cable, it did not work. I tested the cable with a more expensive unit and it worked fine.

Worked great
I bought three of them. I am transmitting over cat6, I would reccommend use cat 6 cable and have them terminated in 568b for this product this will help with noise.I ran 125 feet and it works perfectly, very impressed with this product and will buy again

Doesn’t support surround sound?
My use case: send audio-only HDMI signal from 4K Blu-ray player to non-4K receiver in a nearby room. This device’s manual states that it is compatible with DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD. However, what the manual does not say is that all such signals will output as stereo at most. This even happens with DVD-era DTS and DD, regardless of whether the disc player bitstreams or decodes to multichannel PCM.It would be helpful if the product description noted this.
