Worthy of six stars. This was my fourth attempt at a car cell phone holder. Others were failures for various reasons: magnet too weak, clamp not strong enough, etc. However this one found the solution - use the CD slot for stability. Brilliant. That plus the price makes it a bargain. The only fault I can imagine is that newer cars might not have a CD player; too bad for them lucky for those of us who do!

I love this. It securely holds my phone. I live on a graded road, and I can drive at speed on it and my phone doesn't get shook loose. I like how easily it slides in with just tucking the clamps against it. Also, the button that easily releases it is nice, quick and easy. I does block some of my controls for stereo.

Finally, I found a phone holder for my car!!! I have purchased and thrown away many before finding this one. I recommend this one. Fits in my CD perfectly. Well made. Firmly holds my phone. Perfect location while using Waze.So happy with this purchase.

Phone mount wasn't secured, the phone can slip out. Had to swap out that part with a different one. It holds unto the CD well.

This thing has worked for well over a year in my old car and a year in my new car, without breaking. Puts my CD slot to use, lol. I would highly recommend. Very stable. Easy to keep tight too. I'm honestly shocked at how long it's been in-use without issues. You can tilt it sideways too if you need to.

What a deal! I was replacing a similar holder that I used with an iPhone 6s that used a magnet. I switched to a Motorola G Pure phone. It is larger and I wanted to have a regular holder for it. It was such a snap to put in, and it works great! It is easy to tighten or loosen the ball joint that controls the angle. Tighten it down a lot if you don't intend to ever move it. Loosen up just a little bit if you want to be able to rotate it for horizontal view or lift it up a bit.In my particular car, a Hyundai Accent hatchback, it only obscures a portion of the digital clock and audio screen. It's easy to lift the bottom of the holder up if I want to be able to see all of that screen, mainly the clock, if I have something else playing on the system, and not using the Moto G for music.The quick release button makes removing the phone easy.Of course, time will tell how durable the holder is, but for now I am very pleased with this purchase.
