Co-Mate Chimney Cleaner (2.2 lb.) - Complete Chimney Care, Removes Creosote, Reduces Emissions, Protects Against Corrosion

We heat with wood and this product allows us to go longer between chimney sweeping. It's effective and can be hard to find in local stores.

I used this product during the colder seasons this/last year (Fall 2023 - Spring 2024) in my wood-burning stove (Jotul F400) and I can tell you this works way better than those one-time use CSL logs. Sometimes I'll run the stove hot and not much creosote buildup, but sometimes I'll run it lean and it will make a lot on the glass, but using this powder in between burns really clears everything up. It was 100% the easiest year I've had with regard to glass cleaning, and therefore I know the chimney itself is cleaner too. Not many "potato chips" at the bottom of the chimney catch basin this year, it does the job very well and I like how you can use a little bit or a lot when needed, instead of the one-time burn logs. Approximately 4 cords of wood burned and very little creosote buildup during, going to buy again for next season it's on my wish-list already.

Great stuff. Keeps your chimney really clean .Use half of what they recommend unless you are burning pine or green/ wet wood.

I didn’t dislike anything yet following the directions it takes a month or two for it to work so this is pretty dumb. I’ll let you know after I clean my chimney with the wire brush. Thank you Paul Roberts.

We use a wood burning furnace as a backup to our gas furnace, so a clean chimney is an important safety precaution. This does make the process easier, we will continue buying and recommending this product.

Need to use ever fire in the beginning. But later less frequently

Where I can’t look down my chimney, I’m not sure if it’s doing the job that it suppose to do , but I’m thinking and hoping it is .
