Review: Quality Item - As with most borosilicate glass items (think test tubes and beakers in a chemistry lab) there will always be a sense of fragility when handling but in terms of exposure to a wide temperature spectrum within a short space of time it has served well. (Please note that this has not been tested to the extreme only under general conditions) The spout of the teapot does fill and it may seem like if you fill the teapot to full capacity it will overflow, however this is not the case (just be mindful when pouring the first cup, having said that its see through so it should not be an issue. When pouring it does not drip and the lid seems to stay in place effectively when pouring. For the cost this pot it is great value for money especially when looking at what on the high street and it also comes with a detachable strainer. I will add the strainer is more suited to larger herbal or leaf infusions as opposed to the fine material which will require an additional strainer. Although highly recommended i will stress this is delicate borosilicate glass teapot, it will not be a thick dense teapot some may prefer so keep that in mind however some may prefer this dainty aspect. 5* Review: Does the job, looks great - I've had this tea pot for over 6-7 months now, using it maybe 2-3 times each weekend. It makes a great cup of tea and the metal filter on the spout stops most of my tea leaves getting to the cup. While it is glass and feels very delicate, it's quite durable, with the exception of the little tab on the lid (the bit that stops it falling from the pot when pouring) which broke off within the first few days, but still completely usable.

Beautiful, useful teapot! Careful, it's fragile!
I love this teapot and use it often! It is very beautiful and is a great way to show off a flowering tea. The glass is quite thin, so be careful not to break it- after many years, I shattered the lid of mine (I did drop it onto a hard surface), but luckily the company sells replacement lids on their website, so broken lids must be a common occurrence! The teapot has a removable wire coil filter, which works well with flowering teas but doesn't keep all the tea leaves out of your cup when using loose tea- you'll likely need a mesh strainer for that. However, this teapot brings me lots of joy, and I would recommend it!

Going back within a month
Questionable value. But...watch out you don't immediately break the glass lid which is very fragile. Last glass tea pot we had lasted for many years. In was a bit tired so imo don't buy this one unless you are very, very gentle with it

Quaint and pretty
Lovely little teapot, perfect for topping up your cuppa. It looks so quaint and pretty. Holds 2 mugs easily so ideal for 1 or 2 people. Might even get the larger one for when we can start socialising again.

Broke in a strange way
It was a very lovely teapot bought in October but suddenly broke in February even though we took care of it as we have various glass teapots of different size.
