DEWALT 20V MAX* Cordless Drill Combo Kit, 6-Tool (DCK695P2)

I bought this set because my old set from 20 years ago wouldn't stop working and was getting pretty beat up. Its dewalt, what else do you need to say. They are #1 for a reason. What I didnt know was this 20 volt stuff has a lot more power than the old 18 volt. I also bought it because I recently got a 20 volt dewalt chain saw which was awesome too. I cant wait to get the pole saw and weedeater and blower too. I know gas stuff can be much stronger but keeping the gas stuff running after some winters can be tough and I'm in the south. I do a lot of wood working and I'm going to add the stuff I didnt get also, like the sander and jig saw. When I get everything I need it will be the best thing to be able to use it all off the same batteries. I will keep my best gas stuff for the real tuff jobs but for most people the battery stuff is all you'll ever need. One more thing. I just love my new left handed circular saw. I'm a lefty and it's the first one I've ever had. Finally I can see clearly now without leaning over. I read the reviews and heard the rightys complaining about it. I just laughed.

So far, the kit is exactly what I was looking for. These are the XR tools, made to preform. Tools are relatively inexpensive in price, but you will pay for the extra batteries. I was impressed by the sudden loss of power, meaning tools will preform at Max power and than just stop when the battery is depleted. Much better than the 18V I previously had. Pros: Impact Driver is very impressive, can drive any thing I can find an Apex for. Tapcons, 4 inch screws, nuts and bolts, etc. 3 speed drill rocks, there is so much torx that I need to wear gloves when changing bits and drills. (I don't wear gloves) Angle grinder I have only used it to cut concrete with a cutting wheel. And very impressive, but this thing will eat up the batteries, recommend using a 5ah battery 3ah or 4ah just don't give you enough work time. The bag has a hard bottom, durable canvas material, rugged handles and straps. Great improvement over the hardcases. Tools are built to take a beating, no reason to baby them in a box. Sawsall feels good in hand and very mauneverable, good improvement over the old saws. Cons: Skillsaw, I don't hate it, but don't like it. Seems very clumbsy preferred the feel of the 18v over this one. Just seems like DeWalt added a bunch of extra guards and junk not necessary to function. The light??? Really I would prefer they just did away with that thing. Don't call this a tool. Only negative on the impact driver and drill would be the belt hook, they need to relook at that design. I just removed them, they catch on things and make it annoying. In addition: brought separately Oscillating tool is little weight, blade retention is very convenient. Very balanced. Worth the money. Jigsaw much improved over old saw, I don't use as much as I used to. Work fan also great buy.

Work as expected! DeWalt makes great tools, never had an issue. You get what you pay for and I need to use my tools allot, and DeWalt gets the job done!
