Can you buy an Extension cables?

Can you put one fan in one chicken coop and the other fan in a second coop that are close to ea other?

They would have to be REALLY close. Cords connecting are not that long and it doesn't move that much air. Perfect for moving air in a little green house but not so sure you would get enough air movement in a coop. Works very well for small area.

How far apart can the 2 fans be mounted?

We installed one fan to blow out of the building in the upper front of the building and the other fan to suck air from the exterior on the lower left side of the building. We utilized the complete length of the wire, approx. 10 to 12 feet, this is accounting for the wire to be secured in corners and along the beams so that nothing gets tangled in the lines.

How can I get cold air from these?

not really unless you leave connected in the winter
