Valuable product at a very reasonable price
This product is great to repair either the ballast or HID harness on a 2011 Grand Cherokee headlight. The harness on my truck started to smoke after water got inside the headlight housing. I thought I was going to spend over $500 for a single headlight until I found this kit. The way I installed it was to break off the clips(plastic) that hold the harness to the headlight. I pushed the harness in and ensured I had a perfect rectangle until I pulled it out with some pliers. I installed the harness after applying hot glue on the edge for a perfect seal. I did notice an improvement on the lighting quality as well. Great price and an easy fix! Don't be intimidated.

Works
2013 Grand Cherokee with HID. Works well, brighter than other/old side, probably because of age of the other bulb, not sure. It is a pain to replace these on that year range of Grand Cherokee, like everything on the vehicle, but I have had to remove everything needed in the past to replace the radiator…that made things easier for me. Been in almost a month, no issues

I went to the dealership and spent around a grand getting my light fixed and it went back out shortly after. I bought this, my dad put it in and it working great! And you can’t beat the price!

Great Replacement’s
Perfect fit and replacement for stock HID bulbs and ballasts. No problem with installation at all. Plugs all matched my OEM ballasts.Looks great and nice bright lights.
