Accurate salt solution for salt pools
I like the quantity that comes in the bottle. You can put a small amount in another container to help calibrate my salinity tester. That way your not contaminating the whole bottle when you need to use it. Expiration date is also good because the solution has a two year shelf life.

Accurate plus fast shipping
Not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from. I used it to check my salinity reader and it was accurate showed 3006. Pleased with the product. Not super cheap but it says expired 12/25 so I will use it a few times before it expires.

It's salt water
I would recommend taking this to a pool store and have them test the salinity. The bottle I received (lot 624) tested on an analog meter at 2800. I will calibrate my salt reader accordingly. Nice 2 year shelf life. I will get this again when needed.

Solution off by 400ppm
Due to large rainstorms recently, I lost a lot of water in my pool. Of course this meant my pool was low on salt due to dilution. I received my solution and used to it calibrate my SALT-3050 meter. I brought my salt up to 3660 on the newly calibrated meter and my salt system still was reporting low salt. I tried recalibrating the meter again and it showed that it was perfectly fine and showed the same results. I had some AquaChek test strips and used them to test the water. If I had to guess by looking at them, they showed around 3200. Now I know strips aren't always perfectly accurate, but I obviously then used the strips to test the solution and it was around 2600. I boosted the salt up in my pool according to the strips and guess what......the low salt light went off confirming that the solution was off. My guess is a bad batch....

MUST HAVE PURCHASE FOR SALT WATER POOL TESTERS
You MUST calibrate your salt water pool water tester. Mine came in drastically off, but with this solution I was able to quickly and easily calibrate my tester. Now I can test my salt levels in the pool at home and it is very accurate. If you found this review helpful please mark it helpful so I know to keep writing reviews.
