Best upgrade for my laser
This is amazing, it has been a complete game changer for my Ortur Laser Master 2. Previously the grub screw to adjust the height was slipping, resulting in failed engraves and cuts. There are videos and instructions on Ortur's site on how to fit and once it's in, you will wonder how you ever managed without it. I was a bit wary of spending that much and it being a waste of money, but I think I'd have actually stopped using the laser cutter through frustration if I hadn't have bought this. If you're in two minds as to whether to get this, just order it! You'll see in my video, you just adjust the height by turning the knob.

I had been spending close to an hour every day setting up to cut/engrave client work on my extended (800x400) LM3 because the locking screw for Z was gumming up on my overworked 20w module. The locking screw was a bad design idea and Ortur should be mindful of it in all future designs. Which is why the price of this Z adjuster is a bit of a blow to loyal customers (I own 3 Ortur lasers). I was even more annoyed that when I installed it, I had to find some spare 3mm ply offcuts to cut the 2 spacers to stop the laser homing too far. They would have been about 10c worth of plastic and could have been included with no issue. Ortur need to be careful that this level of penny pinching your customers usually ends up with them walking away and buying other makers - of which there are quite a few good systems on the market. Other than that, this does the job very nicely and there is enough Z range to get every job done with no issue. NOTE: There is a 3rd party provider of a similar tool but when it came down to postage and exchange rates, this was roughly the same price so I went with original Ortur (via Amazon) due to the ordering simplicity. Albeit, the fact that the 3rd party provider never responded to my query about compatibility with my H10 probably helped that decision somewhat.

Definitely worth the purchase. I have it my lm2 s2 with a 20w diode. You will lose a little room on the Y axis, expecially with the 20w since you lose some Y axis movement. If you use it on the 10w dide you will have to get a little creative but it should work ok. Very easy to install.

This definitely makes focusing the laser so much easier than the OEM sliding method. Installation is fairly simple with some minor adjustments to the limiter switches.

Precise cuts. Smooth play. No wobbles. No kinks. Solid metal. Light weight. Would highly recommend.

it was as described. The problem i have is not the controller but the operator. I bought it because i had a Laser tree K20 module that i had installed (works grerat} on my Ortur. Unfortunately, the gizmo doesn't fit that particular model. i may have to do some operator adjustment to make it fit.. Or get a bigger hammer.. Just kidding. I'll use it on my regular ortur laser module for now.. If anyone has any ideas on how to finangle this, please feel free to let me know.
