Really nice boots,look good, comfortable and great value for money.Ordered a size up than my usual size 10 and a perfect fit.

I work in hot desert conditions and most boots have my feet dripping with sweat after one hour of wearing them. These boots are perfect for hot conditions. They are made of a thin suede which cope well in the heat. The boot itself is comfortable for normal work and walking but for a person who will need them for running or any military personnel who need them for their runs and operations they would probably need a insole placed inside designed for running. But saying that I have spent over $250 on a pair of boots designed for military personnel in desert conditions and the boots fell apart way too quickly and my feet were constantly sweaty. Overall these boots are great value and if they did them in size 12.5 I would give it a 5 star rating. Well recommend to buy.

I have been wearing Roamers (Desert boots) for about 30 years and currently have 2 pairs on the go..... they are my ‘go to’ for everyday.This is what I have discovered.....1. Great price and VFM2. They are comfy, but adding a set of Scholl Active insoles (£10) makes them ‘Amazingly comfortable’3. Flat pack so easy to travel with4. Not waterproof but dry reasonably quickly5. Look smart with jeans6. The heel will wear but at this price you just buy another pair7. I’ve never had the stitching come loose, and believe me I’ve abused them!I would like to see if the manufacturer could come up with the same boot but with a gore-tex lining?(And would be more than happy to trial them!)You’re missing out if you don’t own a pair of these iconic boots

These are the most comfortable boot I've owned. They are light and cool to wear ideal with jeans or shorts. Bought for dessert safari so unlikely to get wet, but even then they dry real quick.Dont know how long they will last but at this price I can afford a new pair every year. So far 2 months of near constant wear and they still look great with only a slight ungluing/separation of suede from sole (about 10mm total at the toe bend) but the stiching is still solid.

Been wearing these on and off for 30 years and despite them only lasting a max of 18 months as you can't resole them I've never found any decent alternatives. Once you've worn them for a few weeks the front edge of the heel flattens and they're essentially zero lift boots at a fraction of the cost. Very comfy good looking boots but beware smooth surfaces in the wet as the soles are very slippy.

Great bit of Aldershot nostalgia . The sole is different and slippy. The colour for me is too light and will need restraining with spillage. Other than that would recommend.

I ordered these boots as I previously had the exact same boots and they are the most comfortable boots for walking in.
