This worked great. Had no issues with bolting it on either. Not sure about the string issue others have had but mine didn't snap right away. I broke the stock spring so got this replacement. Had to pull a bunch to get the little dirt bike running, it sat for a few years. Even with all the pulling I saw no issues. Spark plug worked great also. I am keeping the coil as a spare just in case.

The string in this thing is junk. Ordered one kit and it fits fine and all. Pull started a few times and string started to fray. Pulled a time or two more thinking it is probably ok and it snaps. I have had machines and equipment for years and years that is pull start and have actually never had issues with strings. Use these thing and didn’t even get the dirt bike started up and it breaks. Thought I just had one someone installed the string wrong in the unit so thought I would give it another shot. New one comes in and using the all good. Making sure nothing is binding or dragging, but then pull it again later and it comes out of the housing frayed again, which is what is in the picture. So we could have the bike run looked and felt and seemed like it would be ok. Next pull, snap again. And now to return the second one I won’t even get my money back until they get it back according to the return. Either something is running in the housing or the string is poor quality. Two times in a row of it failing means something isn’t right with these units.
