EarPeace PRO is our next generation ear plug and is differentiated with a completely new design and custom high performance filters provided by DEC (Dynamic Ear Company) based in Delft, Holland. (design and utility patents pending) EarPeace PRO is designed to maximize comfort and performance through two major design changes. The ear canal is oblong and the plug itself is also oblong vs. the current round design Design: The flanges are contoured / wave shaped - each flange has two crests and two troughs around the edge. This optimizes the distribution of material inside the ear canal to form an optimized seal and applies the least amount of pressure to delicate ear canal tissues. It’s a natural fit with optimized performance. Filter Technology: Our current filter technology allows a precise amount of unobstructed sound into the ear. The filters are precision injected ABS plastic. The DEC filters contain tuned acoustic membrane and mesh layers that act as a primary eardrum. Sound hits these layers and the sound signature is precisely replicated at the performance rating of the filter - e.g. a 15dB filter replicates the sound 15dB lower than the environment. The experience is true to life sound at a safe comfortable level.
