Does this really work with a wood door with no metal/magnetic capability?

Dear Customer, Our privacy door sign with extra two pcs strong adhesives, it can make sure sturdy on wooded or non-magnetic surface.

Will the adhesive damage the door? Concerned it will leave a mark

I don't think so, but it might depend on they type of door and the paint. If you want to you can mountbit with one of those "Command Strip" adhesives which can be easily removed.

I have application where i would like to use this sign outdoors exposed to sunlight/uv. do you know if it will survive this environment? thanks!

It's basically plastic and aluminum. So it won't rust. The colors will likely fade over time. So it won't last forever, but you'll get a couple of years out of it.
