InCarCables 1.2m Aux-In Cable This cable connects your iPod, iPhone, iPad, mp3 player, smartphone or tablet to your car (or home) stereo via the aux input socket. This allows you to listen to your music from the iPod through your car's stereo system with excellent sound quality. The cables also allow you to connect music players or laptops to speakers or your home stereo! For compatibility see below. If you are concerned about quality, look at this item's feedback below! You can also click on our pictures at the top of this page to enlarge. This cable length (1.2m) is our most popular size, ideal for DJ's sat anywhere in the car! FeaturesThe cables have a robust design with dual moulded, ergonomically designed connecters, made from quality touch plastic. This means they last longer, are easy to hold and are durable enough for usage in the car and at home. The cables have 24k gold plated 3.5mm plugs and a low loss wire core to ensure great sound quality that lasts. All cables are made without the use of hazardous substances and are RoHS compliant. CompatibilityThe cables are compatible with car or home stereos which have a 3.5mm aux input fitted (see pictured input above). Many cars now have these inputs fitted as standard - they look like headphone sockets and are normally located in the stereo unit, glove box, armrest or centre console. If you are not sure about compatibility just send us a message. Our cable is compatible with all iPods, all recent iPhones (including all iPhone 6, 6+, 5S, 5C, 5, 4S, 4 and 3G models) all iPads, and any tablet, mp3 player or smartphone with a normal headphone socket! NOTE: If you have an iPhone or music player with a case fitted, we recommend you purchase our new thinner, stepped connector cable - to find them see the link in the 'Special Offers and Product Promotions' above!

Cracking item
Cracking quality item. The cable is thick enough not to kink or twist but not so thick as to make the cable inflexible.I purchased the 30cm one to plug an MP3 player into my car aux socket allowing me to keep the player sitting on the dash with a non-slip mat.I found it so good I purchased a 1.2m one to allow me to plug in a tablet sitting in the glove box (I don't want that flying off the dashboard!).On my car (Citroen C1) the aux socket does not boost the output of the MP3/Tablet and the tablet has a little more "oomph" in sound output than my MP3 player which is better for noisier traffic/roads.I also purchased again off InCarCables Ltd as I got the 30cm one nice and quick and I valued the thought of consistent quality and service.I will copy and paste this into the 30cm review as the items are essentially identical except for cable length.

MP3 cable
I bought this cable so I could connect my MP3 player to my home stereo equipment & also my car stereo. I wanted to buy a decent quality cable, you can get these cables cheaper, but I have bought cheap in the past & it does not pay, as you get what you pay for. This cable has a very good width, so it will stand up to rigorous use without breaking. The gold plated connectors give you a very good connection & with that you get good reproduction of your music. I would highly recommend this product, if your considering this product or a cheaper version, please pay the extra money, you will not regret it in the long run. I would finally like to say since I have received the cable, how easy it is to insert the cable connectors into my equipment without any fuss.

Seemed to give sound quality a big lift .
After 2 stolen iPhones I decided to get a cheaper phone . I only really use the phone for emergencies and basically use it for in car music . I listen to podcasts and Spotify and Napster as even though 60 love music of all types . I have two home cinema systems of £15,000 in house and £5,000 in summer house . This is not bragging it just shows that I love audio/visual products . Anyway I went for a Samsung Galaxy S3 as reasonably priced against an iPhone 5 and said to be very good for music . As the 3 audio systems in my car and 2 vans were really made for Apple products in mind I now had to use aux in which as anyone knows is a lesser audio input . Could adjust up the volume within one audio to make up for loss of volume within aux-in menu but then thought that a better quality 3.5 could add to quality . Looked at all reviews and this cable had nothing but good reviews . In the meantime I tried the poweramp app in Android that plus this cable have brought the audio up to if not better than the quality I was getting from my iPhone . Would recommend to anybody and as I never scrimp on audio cables in my home systems the price seems a bargain . Sorry it is so long but it gives an idea of how I strive for quality and this is ,

Twice as nice
This is the second time I have purchased one of these leads and it was my previous experience in 2010 that lead me to choose this product again. The lead may be a little more expensive than some but the quality of the product makes it worth spending a little more. The sound quality when using the lead is excellent and the lead is very robust so I have had no problems with crackles or poor sound quality. The original lead I bought has experienced the rough and tumble of life in the glove compartment and it has not been treated with kid gloves but, though now 4 years old, it is still going strong. The service provided by InCar Cables was also a factor. Delivery was really fast and they care whether you are happy with their products. So thank you InCar Cables; now both my daughter and I can enjoy the music on our I-pods in our respective cars. ( A Peugeot 107 and Honda CRV ).

Plug in and go
I am a radio presenter (Seahaven FM Thursdays 7-9pm) and therefore listen to a lot of music in the car and the quality of the auxiliary cable is critical. I drive a BMW 318i and the auxiliary audio output is in the central section between the two front seats. This means that the cable has to be of a certain length and not mind being packed away into the compartment after use. This is the second one I have purchased via Incarcable and on both occasions the service has been speedy, polite and helpful. The cable itself is robust, has a wide dynamic range and is resistant to the kind of audio dropout found in cheaper cables. All in all, a good product, excellent value for the price and packed and delivered well. Recommended.

I'm very pleased with my purchase and I shall tell you why....
Having just bought a new (to me) car solely on the basis I could plug my IPOD in I needed a cable to actually do so. I had a looked through and chose this more based on the photo as the cable looks good quality and I wasn't disappointed. I have only had this for a week so this is based on my usage so far. It is a good sized cable not at all like a thin headphone and has a bit of weight to it (could be the gold tips or maybe just a mixture of things) which I was pleased with. It is a good length too - not so long as to be tangling up in the gear stick but long enough for someone in the back to be able to pick the tunes (not in my car though!). It also seems robust enough to constantly plug in and out without damage to the car plug, cable or IPOD as it simple slid in and out with ease. I know that there are a couple of options available on Amazon but I wanted something that would last and I think the price does reflect the quality and all-in-all I'm very pleased with my purchase. It doesn't however, help my taste in music so apologies if you are the poor soul next to me in the queue on the M6 whilst I am doing my best fist-pumping-whoa-ohhing-Bon-Jovi impression to Livin' On A Prayer!
