Does this come with an option to be able to have the footage saved for longer than 24hrs?

We have this system works really well. Ours has a 1 TB hard drive (bought separately) and it records about 5 days worth before overwriting and starting again. Dead easy install.

Is there a subscription needed to use this product?

You don't need a subscription, but you'll need to buy an internal hard drive to record the footage. (You'll be able to see a stream without a hard drive but just not record). However, if you don't want to buy a hard drive they do give you a subscription to the cloud for about $30 a year (which gives you 3 days recording - so you'd always be able to see footage from 2 and a half days ago any time of the year).

I want to purchase a hdd for this, does it fit a 3.5'' drive or 2.5'' please? Can it be fitted internally or do attach an external hdd? Thanks
