Great quality at affordable price
After a lot of research I selected linseed oil as the best way to restore antique furniture. After searching found the aeroplane brand linseed oil available in India. There was a bit of delay in shipment buy once I got it, I was convinced that I got the right product. Unlike other artificial wood polish, this is quite easy to apply. Few tips for users1) Sand the surface to the finest grit to get the best outcome. The smoother the surface the better the finish2) This is a penetrating oil and meant to increase water resistance. It does not have gloss. If you are looking for gloss go for Varnish or PU.3) This is more suited for natural wood like teak and rose wood to amplify the natural colour4) There will be a pungent smell for few days. Wear a mask while applying and keep in a ventilated space while drying5) Ensure to wipe excess oil while applying.

Works well
It will darken the colour and provide a protective coating. Washed out old teak wood looks like new after application. Drying time is around two days in Bangalore climate. Application needs some skill with a brush. Overdoing should be avoided as it will crystallize on surface and destroy finish.

Satisfactory
Very good packing. And the price is ok compared to other brands.

Double value for money
As usual, appropriate packing. Used it in 1:1 ratio with terpentine to ensure better penetration on old teak and seasoned neem wood. The results have been very nice. Applying linseed oil has been an age old method of treating the wood. Have tried lacquer and some readymade coats. Using linseed and danish oil from aeroplane brand has been doing two things, adding a nice protective and restorative coat while still keeping the texture of the wood intact and not making a layer over it. With this we wish the aeroplane team a luck and request them to keep up the good work, best regards.

Good Thick Oil
This oil is very thick, really viscous oil. It is very good for small applications like say knife handles etc. For large area uses simple boiled linseed oil will do well. The flavor also is very nice. Very edible/food-like smell. I use this for my knife handles etc. It works quite well.

Works as intended, give a shiny coat.
Bought this to coat a nice stick I found on a trek, to water proof it. Sanded the stick and applied two coats of oil. The oil washes off hands easily. The oil seems to take at least two days to dry and polymerize. So keep that in mind. Also make sure to properly close the can. Linseed oil forms the polymerized coat upon exposure to oxygen, so if you want to preserve the oil, it has to be properly air tight.

Good Product - used outdoors and indoors
The packaging was solid but the tin was twisted so it could use some reinforcement. Next, the product itself was good and the oil mixed with turpentine, had excellent drying times and applicability.I did 3 coats in ratio 40:60, 50:50, and 60:40 for linseed:turpentine oil respectively allowing 24 hours between each coat. Ended things with a 600 grit sanding after 3 days of curing post the final coat. Excellent result. Beats polishing the wood outdoors. Would recommend the product!
