This organic vanilla bean paste is okay. At first I wasn't sure if I should try it because there was NO SAFETY SEAL on either the outside, or under the cap on this. There was a small circle of what could have been a seal under the cap, but it was stuck to the lid and not sealed on the bottle. I live dangerously, so I used this anyway.The taste of this is okay. I would say it has a light vanilla flavor and isn't as strong as I expected from a vanilla bean paste. The main ingredient in this is glycerin followed by water. I would have expected the main ingredient to be some form of vanilla like pastes I have bought in the past. This tasted good, but slightly week in the muffins I made. I'll use the rest of this, but won't purchase it again.

I like that it has a great flavor and I like the black seeds in it. I use it for flavoring my coffee in the morning. Also great for baking.

This is a good vanilla paste product. It has a nice vanilla aroma and flavor. I will point out that while it is called a vanilla paste, it is more runny than what you might expect of a paste, with a consistency like a syrup. Would you like that this product is organic. Because it seems more concentrated, I do use a smaller volume of this than I would when using a regular vanilla extract liquid. I just made a batch of banana muffins which called for vanilla, and I used this product and it came out great. I am attaching a couple photos so you can see the product and the consistency. I like it.

This isn't a paste, it's more like a really thick liquid. It's convenient to pour and measure. You can see small bits of vanilla bean in it.The flavor is very nice. Better than extract. Works just like extract would in baked goods, ice cream, etc..Note the first ingredient is glycerin. It plays a huge role since this is alcohol free. It's an emulsifier, slows down moisture loss, helps preserve the vanilla, and adds sweetness.

This is a solid vanilla paste. The consistency is like a syrup instead of a paste but it mixes well and has a good taste. There is no added sugar and it relies on glycerin instead of alcohol. I did compare this to another paste I had that had sugar and ethyl alcohol and honestly - I preferred the other brand, even though this brand admittedly had a stronger vanilla taste. Another pro - this is a USDA organic product. The price is a little high at over twenty dollars, but not unreasonable for a vanilla concentrate.Overall, I would recommend it.

I have only used regular vanilla extract all my life, so this was a true awakening. First off, I can see the little specks that make it look like a vanilla bean being scraped. I made whipped cream, a glaze for cinnamon rolls, banana muffins and was impressed with the flavor and ease of use. This is like a syrup, and it is easy to measure and mix in with the other ingredients. A regular bottle of vanilla extract is pricey in the store, so this is a decent amount for a fair price.

So far to me it tastes fine, but nothing overly special or anything super better tasting than regular vanilla extract or anything. It has a much thicker consistency than regular vanilla extract. I had to scrape it out of the measuring spoon when I used it to not waste it. It is still thin enough that it mixes into batter very easily, so that it isn't a problem. You can see small specs of what I'm assuming is vanilla pods. I do like that this claims to be minimally processed and uses responsibly sourced ingredients.
