Perfect fit. Great replacement battery!
Worked like a charm!!!! Fit perfectly where the old battery was, charged immediately, and seems to hold a charge as long as the original battery.I give 5 stars because I bought it for the battery, not the extra stuff (which was mediocre at best). They include instructions, but they are TINY pictures. The same instructions are online with larger, clearer pictures. Also... buy the real T6 star screwdriver that Amazon recommends at the bottom of the page . The one included with the battery didn't last very long. It stripped pretty quickly.

Easy to install, you can remove grill dents too!
My Jawbone Big Jambox wouldn’t reach full charge, only 3/4 and would quickly discharge while playing it. This replacement battery was fairly easy to install and the specs indicate that it has 25% more battery capacity. I have no way to test this, but I’m able to now charge up to full according to the Big Jambox battery monitor. Other reviewers stated that the enclosed screw driver and manual we’re not useful, I agree. I bought the Amazon recommended T6 driver and used the online iFixit guide. It took me about 1/2 hour to replace the battery and I was able to press out some dents using my fingers on the stylish Jambox grill too, while the Jambox was apart. My beautiful Red Dot Big Jambox looks and performs much better now! I’m very happy that I did this. Hopefully the new battery will last as long as the old one, if it doesn’t I’ll update this review.

Worth every penny! Like new again!!
Brought life back to our Big Jambox. I just realized the other day that it wasn’t working while unplugged. Ordered this battery pack yesterday and got it about an hour ago. Start to finish, replacement took about 40 minutes. If I had to do it again, it’d take 20 minutes. I took time to clean/wipe down the Jambox. Years of dust and grime. This battery pack came with clear instructions and pictures. The included Torx screwdriver, T6, was more than adequate to complete this task. I think some of the reviews where people had issues and stripped screws are more/less human error. Either that, or the company listened to the customers and now provide a better tool. Either way, no problems from start to finish. Totally worth the price to make this like new again, considering the initial cost of the speaker, and the sound quality for such a small speaker.

my Big Jambox is mobile again!!!
Just replaced the battery on my original Big Jambox speaker and am SO excited to be mobile again!! oh how i've missed you, Jan!! :)Things you will need:-Torx (size T6) screwdriver-2 containers for your loose screws (pun intended)-compressed air (if you're like me and your speaker has taken 1 or 2 or 30 visits to the beach)-the replacement battery, duhThings to know:-provided screwdriver really does suck-battery comes ~1/4 charged-have confirmed battery is compatible with the original Big Jambox (J2011-01-US)-replacement is not even that hard, just a lot of unscrewing mostlyI read the reviews but thought people were just being dramatic and figured maybe since i'm female i would be able to make the provided screwdriver work with a "more gentle" feminine touch... NOPE. screwdriver stripped like 1 or 2 screws into the side panel. "well maybe if i use a rubber band or paper towel as a contact buffer"... NOPE. thought i was really the next einstein and cut the stripped part off with wire cutters... still NOPE. the softer metal of the provided screwdriver just cannot handle the harder metal of the jambox screws/how tightly they're screwed in.my battery fit great and came ~1/4 charged according to jambox voice lady (Janbox, as i call her), so you can test it immediately.i just googled and followed along with the first youtube vid to pop up, "How to replace your Jawbone Big Jambox rechargeable battery" by BB Electronics and it was great; not too slow which is important but still hit all the high points. thanks BB Electronics!i rarely review but this speaker is my baby... i LOVE this speaker. there may or may not have been tears when the battery officially bit the dust and she became a purely "home" speaker. should have done this months ago; a $30 tune-up is well worth the sound this speaker puts out.4 stars because i had to make a special trip (during freaking covid, no less) to Lowe's for that dumb Torx T6 screwdriver... not a common/household/eyeglass screwdriver like i had assumed/hoped (did not have the patience to wait for 2-day prime shipping).haven't gotten time to test out the battery duration but headed on vacation next week so that should give me ample opportunity to find out... will do some recon and report back then.p.s. for all those people saying they "couldn't get it to work" and they "HAD to throw the speaker away"... hit your girl up and i will GLADLY take care of proper battery disposal for you ;)

New Lease on Life for an Old Friend.
One sad morning, my heart froze as I heard the speaker warble out "Low Battery, Please Charge" for the final time, I knew the time had come. For months, a sinking feeling of dread would set it in as my faithful friend and partner Jawbone, was losing stamina day by day. It was time to finally let my companion rest.As I begun my fateful funeral walk to the E-waste facility, one of the workers took a single glance, and offered me a nugget of hope. A magical pill that could bring Jawbone back from the dead. I was directed to hunt through the archives of amazon, to seek out this seller. Supposedly a wizard of magic with the tools to breath new life into my friend. When I received what looked like a flare stick, at first, I was skeptical. Was I truly ready and prepared to perform an invasive operation on my friend. Training I did not have, but tools were provided. With guidance from the included instructions manuscript, I began my painstaking operation.Shell peeled back, screws and boards scattered around, I've finally made it to the Mitochondria of my friend. After carefully installing the new battery, and trying to reassemble Jawbone, I hold my breath as I hold down the power button for the first time, in what feels like forever.Jawbone LIVES! It's like a miracle dropped form the heavens. Jawbone had returned from the shores of the River Styx. With a new lease on life his Stamina is even better than before. He can run for louder, and longer.I must thank all involved on this journey, and thank the wizard supplier from helping me bring my friend...home.
