hard to do this sort of product wrong
They are what they are -- 1/4" extenders, in three lengths. I have a ratchet screwdriver where the screw socket is right against the handle -- too short -- and these work perfectly. There's not much to do wrong with these, and the price is reasonable for three lengths.

So far so good
I needed a few new 1/2" extensions for work but didn't want to break the bank with the tool truck options. Figured I give these a shot. I've only had them for a few days but I like them. They were hit with an impact to remove various bolts and lug nuts and survived without a whimper. The ball detent has a strong grip which is nice and the tolerances are tight. There's very little wobble at the sockets and no worries having them accidentally dropping off. I have a few other Ares tools and have been happy with them as well.

Great extensions.
Bought these almost 3 years ago. I’m a full time Toyota technician. I use these everyday, on impacts and ratchets. Yet to break an extension even using my Milwaukee and Matco impacts on them. Haven’t worn down and the keep ball still works fine. The holder is nice too. Only thing is the short 1/4 extension is kinda hard to get out but I just flipped it so it’s propped up. Would definitely buy again for home use.

These are great they have a little knurling on the ends which helps. There not bulky either. Work well!

They're 3/8 extensions that seem fine.
Bought this set of 3/8 extensions to get to an engine mount bolt. They seemed fine, and didn't do anything weird when I really put some torque on them. So they're probably legitimate steel. None of the plating came off. I think they'll be fine for the home mechanic, plus you probably wont' use extensions this long all that often, so I expect the wear and tear to be low.

Solid for the money
These work great, fit perfectly, and do the job they are supposed to do. Can't beat the price either so I would recommend them for sure.
