We had carbon monoxide leak from my old boiler and the old detector was a manual one and next to a regularly opened door. It took a while to register the leak. The gas board recommended that I buy a digital co detector as it is easier to see the level of co in the air and can report the exact number if needed. This is a tidy monitor, displays the numbers clearly on the front which is always zero so I am very happy! Easy to use, well worth the money and a good quality monitor. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to replace their monitor.

Nice and small, although would have preferred to stick it to the boiler, rather than have another gadget standing on the work surface. Very loud.

Bought to replace an older one. Easy to set up can be placed freestanding or attached to wall. Tested well, good clear volume, peace of mind in case of any leaks, green light periodically flashes so know it’s working. Good value .

... which is all you need to know really. I know it works because I bought this as a replacement for one of the same model we inherited in the kitchen of our new home. We came back from a weekend away to hear periodic screeching and discovered the CO alarm complaining loudly in the kitchen that it needed replacing. Happily, no complaints from neighbours but if you were in the house you would definitely know about it.Bought the identical model to the old and it slotted in to the existing housing just fine which made life easy. Now braced for a rude awakening in ten years' time!

I bought this to replace my previous CO monitor which has hit the 10 year lifespan. This unit is a small upgrade as it has the LCD display showing the current CO level (reassuringly zero right now). The unit comes with clear instructions on location and mounting as well as appropriate fixing screws.Finally this has both a 10 year lifespan and a battery rated for that time, so it should be maintenance free. Don't forget to do the regular tests though for extra confidence.

Very easy to just drill a couple of holes in the kitchen wall to fit the backplate and then just slide the appliance down into place which triggers it into life. Works fine - only had it a day but really can't foresee any problems.

Great value for money to protect your family with a good lifespan.Test regularly as per the instructions and all should be well.If you have a gas heating appliance then one of these is asimportant as a smoke detector.
