Most muzzles made my dog upset. This one he was comfortable with wearing. Worked well for my German shepherd.

Ordered an XL for my big Doberman male. I went through so many muzzles trying to find one long enough for his snout. I did end up punching an extra hole in the head strap to tighten it up.

Works good for short periods of time for my anxious dog. Doesn’t give a lot of pant room for long periods of time so this is used for short times and a custom one will be used for long periods of time!

I measured and re-measured and checked other reviews about this before I pulled the trigger to order it. It just fits so weirdly on my german shepherd, and is by all accounts way too big. Even after adding multiple extra holes with a leather punch, it still doesn’t QUITE sit right on the top of her head, and she can push it off if I let her mess with it too long. It’s frustrating, to say the least, and something that I thought might be an easy fix with an extra hole just means I can no longer return it.

I BOUGHT 3 OF THESE FROM 3 DIFFERENT VENDORS. WITH THE SAME OUTCOME. YES THE CLAIMS ARE TRUE THEY WILL QUIET THE DOG DOWN. BUT AFTER A COUPLE DAYS MY DOGS WERE BREAKING OUT. NEVER EVER WILL I DO THIS AGAIN. TO THE MASTER MIND BEHIND THESE THINGS PUT A CAGE OVER YOUR AND ENJOY YOURSELF.

Great heavy duty muzzle! My Berner did really well with this muzzle, and it lasted us the longest. Unfortunately a family member didn’t put it on correctly and he chewed through the leather. Up unto that point this was the best muzzle we had ever used. So if you have a big dog that isn’t a chewer I would highly recommend purchasing!
