Sturdy!
I was able to stack up to 60lbs. It’s a bit loose, but overall, it fits the bill !

Still in great shape!
I purchased this 12 years ago and housed it in my MMA gym. It took abuse and didn’t bat an eye. 12 years later and this thing looks like it did when I first got it. If they build it the same today as they did 12 years ago, I highly recommend.

Great rack if you know hat you are looking for. I also got the add on 3rd rack. Holds my runner coated hex 5s, 10s, 20s, 25s, 30s, 35s 40s, 45s, 50s, 60s, 65s, & 70s pefectly. Best out there. Would be a five star rating if the packing was better. Packaging so beat up when arrived, that I'm surprised everything was in the box. Only damage was paint chips and scratches. Apparently a known problem, because they ship with touch up paint. Close to gym quality.

I purchased a 3rd tier for use on the Body Solid GDR60 Dumbbell Rack. I routinely store 1500 pounds of dumbbells on this rack (two each dumbbells from 35-90 pounds in five-pound increments). It is solid as a rock and works perfectly. Normally, you would expect to have to store the heaviest dumbbells on the bottom tier (for stability), but that's not necessary with the GDR60. This rack is so well designed that it remains very stable, even if you store the heaviest dumbbells on the top tier (where I do, as they are easiest to access that way). Can't say enough good things about this dumbbell rack. If you get one and store a lot of dumbbells, make sure you buy the 3rd tier. I was going to place dumbbells on the floor instead of using a 3rd tier. That would have been a huge mistake.UPDATE: I've beening using this rack for 18 months, now, and it's still as solid as a rock. I've increased the weight on this rack to 1540 pounds, but it makes no difference. FYI, I'm storing standard iron hex dumbbells on it (pairs of 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, and 85 pounds), plus round Iron Grip dumbbells (pairs of 80 and 90 pounds), and one pair of urethane-coated hex 95-pound dumbbells. They fit with room to spare.
