Perfect for an over your bannister drier
One of the best things I have every bought!I wanted something to secure to my bannister to dry clothes and I looked at many options. I even bought a cheap one for £7 which was really small and flimsy, and it broke when I opened it. This is a bit expensive but its worth it due to the quality that comes with this brand. Its about 68cm wide and 40cm deep, which is perfect as its not too large but wide enough for towels, and you can hang stuff on hangers from it.Its really sturdy and I have hung loads of clothes off it. Even if your bannister supports aren't 67cm apart it can still secure it using the first drying rail, as you adjust the arms. The clothes are dry over night and it saves using your tumble dryer during the winter.

Pricier than some other options, but can take more weight, and has lots of space for hanging items
I bought this for using in a small room, where space was limited. I did not want to use floor space with clothes drying racks. This rack fits well on the side of a shower cubicle, and holds a substantial amount of clothes, including heavier items like jeans and towels. It is nice and wide. Once you set it up to be level on whatever you are attaching it to, you can just leave it there, or fold it away if you need that space. This holds more weight than other brands, and is sturdier, but you pay more. I think it is worth it for an item you will be using often.

Super quality
So glad I spent the money on this. I’ve made the mistake of buying cheaper and they’ve snapped but this is sturdy and sits nicely on the door.

Great for small homes
I really like this drying rack - it’s lightweight, study, and folds up to go neatly in to the utility cupboard. I like the mechanism by which you can set the width for the hangers as well - I previously had a cheap knock-off of this design, and it didn’t have that smart little feature. If I could change one thing about this drying rack, it would be for the over-door hangers to be designed so you could close a door while this is in use hanging over it. I have over-door hanging towel racks, storage caddies, coat hooks, and so on, that all take a lot of weight just fine whilst allowing the door to be closed, so I think it wouldn’t have been impossible to design this to do the same thing.

The thickness of the rails and the length make a huge difference
I have both cheap versions of over heater dryers and now the brabantia version. The comparisons are obvious:The Brabantia model has longer and thicker rails, which allow me to hang a man's medium sized t shirt along side a pair of socks on one rail. It's easier to adjust and hook over the radiator, but I would say the design team should consider an adjustment feature that controls the height position of the rails because it does hang quite low to the floor, so longer clothes do drag on the floor. With the cheaper non-brabantia model I own, its rails are thin, the length of the rails are shorter, and it leans downward rather the straight out, and the hooks don't always hook behind certain radiators. The Brabantia is a no brainer for me, I've since ordered another. However, bear in mind that it won't fit on small radiators due to its width and it does extend quite far out, so do ensure you take measurements before buying it.

Handy used in conjunction with s short towel rail.
I note that one purchaser fixed this to a wall using eye hooks. I have achieved the same result using a short towel rail, also from amazon. Using the airer in the space over the bath in a warm bathroom enables a very handy drying arrangement for shirts etc on hangers, and the airer can be removed and stored away when not in use. As ever from Brabantia , a very good product, worth the premium price. You get what you pay for.

Sturdy!
I have waited a while to make sure I was purchasing the right product for me... and I was right!ALL of my Brabantia products are over 10 years old - and they still look like new! So there was no questions there! My only concern regarding this product was how flexible I would be with width of radiator - and as described, the arms are adjustable (they lay 40cm apart on my radiator as per photo).I purchased it about a month ago and still happy. And as per my previous experience with Brabantia, I have no doubts it’ll be just as good years from now.

More expensive than other airers, but worth it as it’s a quality item. Strong and well made. It arrived fully assembled, and the arms fold down so that it’s flat for storage. Hoping it will save me money as an alternative to using the tumble dryer, although too small for duvet covers, etc.
