The Hero Project Glow Drops Dry Touch Facial Oil Plus Vitamin C

I have extremely dry skin caused by chemo drugs a couple of years ago. I've tried just about every recommended oil & cream for super dry skin & this one is most definitely the best.It's basically a mix of aromatherapy oils which I could have mixed myself - I'm an aromatherapist - but it also has Vitamin C and cannabis sativa oils which give it that extra edge. We do absorb aromatherapy oils through the skin & they do work but I repeat,I think the vit C & cannabis oil are what makes this product work.My skin has improved. I don't think it will get rid of the wrinkles I now have but who knows what long term use ill bring - I live in hope lol I believe Im not only feeling more relaxed because of the aroma oils - geranium is a relaxer oil - but the cannabis oil is helping me to feel more relaxed too. Ive tried not using it for a couple of days & I definitely was much more stressed.Considering how expensive aroma oils are,I think this product is fairly priced. Im not sure about the dropper. I ditched the fancy top part and I just use the dropper. That dropper delivery system is excellent BTW.It allows you to place the drops exactly where you ant them. I dont put them in my hands - they'd absorb the oil because they are so dry. I put the drops directly on my face in the areas I need them & then rub it in from there.I smell nice - another thing that boosts your morale - and my skin looks like a peach as it always used to :o)It's nicely packaged too which makes one feel a bit special and good if you want to gift it.I don't write too many reviews but I wanted to with this because it is so good.Try it, you won't be sorry

Gives my skin a really lovely glow. Can avoid wearing foundation when I apply this. Lovely packaging and beautiful smell. I think the pipette works well.

Using this product, my skin is definitely left with a lovely bright look. It is a little oily for my liking - I prefer something that is drier to the touch once it has been absorbed. The bottle is also a little annoying because it works with a dropper instead of a pump - this means that there is a danger of knocking over the bottle. A pump is much easier. I am not sure that I would go out of my way to buy this product in the future, I have preferred other skin oils that I have used in the past for their texture and pump bottle.

The bottle is very well designed to make it last longer - the dropper system is very specific and saves on wastage, the bottle is going to last a few months compared to the one month that most other brands of this size do.Similarly, the design of the packaging makes it suitable for gifting, it looks really expensive and luxury.So, the product itself -The ingredients are mostly essential oils - quite a surprisingly large amount actually in ratio to the chemical compounds that are in it mostly for binding and things like that. With Cedarwood, Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, Carrot, Marjoram, Rose, Geranium and Hemp (and some other flower oils I don't recognise the names of) it's a healthy mix. The largest proportion of oil is from the Hemp - aka Cannabis Sativa - and this isn't the first time i've read of ridiculously good (external!) health benefits from this. It's Holland & Barrett's number one selling product, bit of useless trivia there.Texture is light, it feels like an oil of course but more of that watery essential oil type over the density of say, olive oil. Absorbs well, takes about 10 minutes. Despite from what I can tell it not having any elderflower in it, it smells exactly like elderflower. Very light and floral and refreshing.When it's on, it doesn't have any WOW effect, but no product really can give you that. After repeated use of a week it's been great for dry skin problems and just generally making the skin look a litle bit healthier, more moisturised and consistent.My only con is that there's not much information about the benefits of the natural ingredients, other than "it will make your skin glow". I'm quite a science nerd and find it interesting to read the ins and outs of why certain ingredients do what, even if it can be marketing faff sometimes.Overall though, love it.

I am really impressed with this product so far and have been using it a few days. It smells lovely, it feels lovely on my hands (when I put it on my palms before application) and on my face. It doesn't feel greasy, it doesn't look greasy and it makes my skin feel refreshed.I usually use quite expensive face care products and this is a lot cheaper than the product I normally use, but I have to say I am impressed by this. It feels good quality - the bottle is attractive, the dropper is good and most of all I love the smell.
