⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Ritual is still my fave but my god this book is incredible. I will warn there are quite a lot of triggers so please read them first. The first 30% of the book is a little slow story wise and a lot of crazy messed up sex (LOVE spice but I get bored if there's no actual plot line) however the next 70% of the book is full of twists, turn, spice off the charts and a plot line that is ridiculously addictive to the point I couldn't put the book down!!! Some people have struggled to read the book due to the darkness of the book, but I promise you KEEP READING!!! Can't wait to read the next one....

' when I burn the world down, and they ask me why, I'll tell them the devil asked me to do it. And I wanted to make him proud' 😏🤤Sin, sin, siiiiinnn. What a man. Really enjoyed first 3/4 of the book but the last bit seemed to drag but was a good ending. Elli's story was so sad and there were times I could cry reading about her.Overall 4 stars. Great read

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
OK, OK here we go... the ritual was five stars and I completely will continue the streak here. I've said it once I'll say it a million times Shantel Tessier is a GOD!So if you read my review of The Ritual you know all this and just skip to the next paragraph. If not this is the breakdown. The narrative starts with the discovery of an ancient, cryptic ritual or secret society which fathers pass down through generations to the sons who study at the university. If they complete the tasks the last year they get a chosen, a chosen is a woman in the same year who you won’t marry (as that’s already arranged) but you get to have some fun with being celibate until senior year. A chosen is his to do what he likes. Literally and I mean anything! The L.O.R.D.S “L.O.R.D. - Leader, Order, Ruler, and Deity” rule The university and after they graduate.. the world. This series can be read in any order, following each of the L.O.R.D.S through the ritual to become a powerful LORD leading to a life of wealth and Power. In this book we find so much more depth and darkness into the world of the L.O.R.D.S. and we are introduced to many more characters which are the MC's of future books. The subplots in this book are all prominent in the plot for the whole series.Book (2) followsEaston Bradley Sinnett—Sin— he uses his power for his own sick pleasure. Like a typical Lord, he never thought about the consequences of his actions. Ellington Jade Astor grew up with him, obsessed over him, craved him but Ryat is her best friends brother. HUGE SPOILER Elligton has had a really shockingly horrific past (please check triggers for SA/ Grooming) I mean it broke me this storyline was very well written. Elli walks in on a masked man who had a mission to complete. you guessed it ... its Sin *squeel*. Sin decides once his work is complete he's going to give Elli every dark deep fantasy she can imagine, but she has no idea who he is. But what happens when he chooses her without the mask?Sin is the anti-hero and I felt that I had mixed feelings about him at many points it was well hello, oaft, anger, disgust, damn, wow, damn, aww then wow! I think his darker than Ryat vibe has been like marmite for fans of the series either loved him more or completely hated him. Me I liked him and the darkness of him really worked for the storyline Elli herself is morally Grey, yes she would class as a victim but damn she was not going to be one. She craved the darkness, she was already morally black before Sin and that is sexually separate to her past.Shantel just looked at how much we loved The Ritual and let out an evil laugh said, lets make it sexier, darker, more mystery, add more depth and plot then lets take the twisty plot line of The Ritual and make this plottwistingly twisty. If you guessed this plot line I am impressed. Shantel Tessier I would love to see the way you structure the plot for books honestly in awe.my only one tiny tiny complaint is that the ending felt a little rushed for me after some fantastic knowledgable build up. I mean we want to see that magic yes! but I wanted more from the end... but lets face it how many times do we read a book and the plot is fab then BAM in the last 100 pages.

good but needs more a storyline
I really enjoyed reading this book, the gripping detail is endless and it sends your imagination wild. However, I feel like more of a storyline was needed, it includes more smut than anything else. When getting to the storyline, you can’t enjoy it as every other page is smut. Which I understand as it’s a dark romance book but having a good storyline is what makes a bookHowever it was a good read and I did enjoy the book. It just took me longer than usual to finish it

amazing
Omg Shantel tessier really knows how to deliver, after reading the ritual, I got hooked on this series. And let me tell you Sin really gives Ryatt a run for his money 😂😂. I loved the spice and scenes on this book, but I also loved the tenderness and the twists and turns. The author clearly has done research before writing this book and covers so much. 5 ⭐️ isn’t enough I would go higher if I could. Brilliant, fast paced, engaging and keep you wanting more and more. Follow sin and his little demon on a journey to discovering themselves and just what one is capable of for the one they love. ❤️

Nice easy read for a dark romantic.
It was a quick read with twists and turns and nice little cameo appearances from the first book. I was never left bored and didnt find it hard to complete.

Sin had me in a choke hold
This book had me living out the enemy to lovers trope in real life. At the beginning everything about the the MMC made my skin crawl but I couldn't look away, it was as of he had a hand around my neck forcing me to stay. By the end of it I missed that hand.A rollercoater with twists and turns sharp enough to give me whiplash and I enjoyed every minute of it!
