Good quality of yeast at a good price
Great quality of the yeast. I am not a professional bakery, but I have only recently started baking at home to make breads of my own choice. I will judge this yeast based on its ability to rise the dough. This yeast works very well. I have baked wheat flour and ragi bread . I have tried a all purpose flour and wheat flour pizza. The both products have baked well. The softness of my breads is not on par yet, but that has nothing to do with the yeast. It's my technique that's faulty and I'll get better with time. Talking about the value for money, it is very value for money. I got 250gm of yeast for Rs. 220 , that's a great price. This amount of yeast will last me months. One just needs to be careful to use up in 6-8 months or else there are chances of spoilage. I am not sure how effective is the jar in keeping the moisture out, (my last pack of yeast was ruined by moisture). I will update the review if the jar isn't capable. You can transfer it into an airtight container, but it looks like the jar will hold. I bake with an air fryer (bread), and sometimes on gas stove (pizza dough). This yeast works well. Give it a try. It is basically the same species of yeast that everyone else is selling. Cheaper too. Be careful to regularly use and finish up the product or the yeast will die. If you are not planning to bake bread regularly (I make at least once a week), then try a smaller quantity at first.
