I purchased this tea for several reasons. I like Darjeeling tea, I was hosting a tea party and finally the title. We all enjoyed the tea. The flavor is bold but not to bold nor is it bitter tasting. I will purchase again.

I drink a pot of black tea almost every day. I always use good, loose leaf tea brands and have a range of English Breakfast, Assam, East Frisian, and various special blends like black currant and apricot or Earl grey cream. I was excited to try this based on the description, and it was a blind buy. I made a pot this morning and don't think I can finish it. It is literally like Autumn Leaves and cut grass blended together. One and done, but this is strictly my palate.

I had expected to receive First Flush Leaves tes. Instead I higot Second Flush Black tea. Taste was not what I was looking for. Even the Tin container of the tea was different.

Great tea to have in the morning!

The beautiful amber/gold color, the scent, watching the tea leaves slowly unfold as they sink into the hot water!

Serenissima best describes this tea from the serene foothills of Darjeeling.
