Very nice, from first impressions.
Purchased as I wanted a watch that wouldn't look out of place with a second world war military costume and couldn't afford a genuine vintage watch. This one seems to be based on the design of a WWII-era German pilots' watch; there is a similar model in a brown / cream finish from the same manufacturer sold as "ME-109 pilot watch". The quality seems quite good but it's too soon to comment on its accuracy, battery life or long-term robustness. The strap is substantial, thick, real leather (with a real leather smell); the case and buckle have a sort of "aged" steel look. The "glass" is thick and has a slight magnifying effect. The face design is unusual with the numbers for minutes around the outside and those for the hours nearer the centre. Luminosity of the hands and hour markers isn't great - I wouldn't recommend this if you really need a watch you can read in the dark. The watch is supplied in a simple but neat gift box with an appropriately old-fashioned string closure. There are no instructions; simply set the time with the crown then remove the small plastic clip to allow the crown to close and engage the battery. Alignment of the stepped motion of the second hand with markers on the face isn't perfect - fairly typical of many quartz watches in my experience. I believe the watch is supposed to fit 18.5cm to 23cm wrists. On the last hole it was still slightly loose for my skinny (~17cm) wrist so I added (drilled) one more hole - this works fine; a second extra hole might be even possible for those that need it (the keeper can slide to the end of the free end of the strap). The case diameter is about 42mm and it's about 50mm across the outside of the strap fittings/lugs. Thickness from the case back to the front of the "glass" is about 13mm. This is an interesting, simple and fairly elegant watch that I'm sure I'll be using more than just as an accessory to a WWII costume.

Trusted time-keeping companion
I've had this watch for a few months now. It's quite a unique-looking piece and I've enjoyed owning it. In my opinion, when it comes to watches it should remain simple and practical. I'm not a fan of watches that have all kinds of dials and gauges on the face as most of these are either for show or don't offer any real use to the average person. This watch is very much a "what you see is what you get" deal. The face is large and stands out nicely, the glass is clear and elevated roughly half a centimetre with smooth, slanted edges giving the illusion of magnification at times. The metal has a kind of dull steel appearance as though the watch is perhaps older than it actually is. I personally like that touch. I've given the watch four stars instead of five for a few small reasons. Firstly, I had to make a hole for the strap with a thick needle as it was too loose on my wrist. Secondly, the metal back of the time piece causes a not uncommon reaction which turns my skin pale green if I wear the watch for prolonged periods. Thirdly, the metal itself does seem to be slowly losing its colour nd darkening. Other than the above minor issues, it's a lovely watch. People have complimented it on several occasions and I feel it's a simple yet reliable piece that looks great whatever you wear.

World War Two pilots watch
An excellent vintage style watch which even has an "aged" look on the metal. Has a chunky feel but is comfortable to wear as it has a good, thick black leather strap. I also like the domed glass which has a slight magnifying effect. My only gripe was the delivery time. Came from an Irish supplier which stated that it used a budget postal service. It must be called "snail mail" as it was weeks before the watch was delivered. My five star rating though is for the product which I would recommend to ww2 enthusiasts or simply to those who want a good looking timepiece.

Solid, unassuming and reliable; patchy life expectancy
Had this watch for about a month now, worn it every day. It's very solid and feels sturdy. Not one person has mentioned it to me or remarked upon it, which I have taken to mean that it neither looks cheap nor flashy; just: right. Haven't worn it in the wet or in the shower so can't comment on its waterproof capabilities (or otherwise) but I would be fairly confident to accidentally wear it in the shower.. It feels very robust and solidly put together. Further, I lead a fairly accident prone and active life. I have knocked the watch into hard objects when wearing it and it just bounces right off without a dent or a scratch. Very happy, would recommend to anyone who wants a watch that can be worn with a Tshirt or a suit, at work or at play. Only lost one star for the bevel which protrudes perhaps a little too far and irritates the hand; which wouldn't be a problem if worn on the right hand. EDIT: After around 6months of wearing the watch every day it suddenly stopped. On closer inspection, the second hand had fallen off, rendering the watch defunct. Was heartbroken. Have now taken to buying vintage Soviet watches on Ebay instead.

Good sturdy watch for a reasonable price
Bought for my son and he loves it. Certainly seems sturdy enough to withstand being on a teenager's wrist and at a good price. Only downside was that delivery took ages (almost a month). Whilst it did arrive just within the dates specified on the order confirmation, it was meant as a gift for a special occasion and arrived about 10 days after the event! I guess I'm just used to ordering from Amazon and goods arrive within a few days. Other than that - very pleased :)

Drawn to this timepiece and gotta say, it’s beautiful. If the movement was to be an automatic, even better. Overall, this would be nice for an everyday watch. Feels natural on wrist and genuine leather strap. Feels nice and thick. Exceptional for its price and appreciate the homage.

Belle montre, reproduction inspirée de modèles des années 40-50. Le changement de pile est délicat car le couvercle est embouti en force il faut faire attention de ne pas le rayer. Bon rapport qualité prix.
