Game-Changer for Group Rides and Long Trips!
I’ve been using the Cardo Packtalk Neo for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. The mesh communication system is a game-changer—it easily connects with my riding group, and the voice clarity is fantastic even at highway speeds. I ride with up to 6 other people, and staying connected the whole time has never been easier. The 40mm JBL speakers deliver great sound quality with plenty of volume, even with earplugs in. Natural voice commands work well too—I don’t have to take my hands off the bars to control music or answer calls. It’s completely waterproof, so no stress when the weather changes. Battery life easily lasts for a full day of riding. Setup was quick and intuitive using the Cardo app. If you do a lot of riding, especially in a group, this is a solid investment. Highly recommended!

Get this for the best bang for buck
This is the best model in their lineup if you want to spend the least amount of money for the most features. The other models above this have a couple more gimmicks that raise the price another 100 dollars or more. The only reason you to get the edge is if you are gonna do looooooooooooooong road trips where you need the thing to be on for an entire day non stop. Otherwise, the battery lasts long enough for multiple multi-hour rides. - amazing speakers (use the included spacers to get them as close to your ears as possible) - amazing microphone (no wind noise, super clear) and the choice between a little dot mic or one on a flexible arm. - the install was about as easy as it could be - the app is pretty great, lots of options to make it how you like but sometimes takes some messing with it to connect. - the mesh talk is great once its set up but the set up can be annoying at first. The range is great but dense trees will start to cut that down fairly quick - it has its own voice commands that suck but you don't have to use it and your assistant of choice works great with it

Great Investment, Awesome Functionality!
Very happy with purchase. We have used these on several rides and find the range, sound quality, and smartphone connectivity to be excellent. Ended up also purchasing another single Packtalk Neo in addition to the purchase of this Duo so we could have a third rider with us also and after initial setup, all sync together flawlessly with no additional steps other than turning them on. The Packtalk comm systems are definitely an investment compared to cheaper setups but the ability to communicate with more than 2 riders over a good distance is very worth it for us. So far very happy with size and weight of units as the addition of them to the helmets is not noticeable when wearing.

Great!
Couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Sound quality is amazing. Phone calls are great quality as well and it’s easy to operate.

Cardo Packtalk Neo – A Solid Choice for New Riders
As a new rider, I wanted a reliable way to stay connected for safety and navigation without having to pull over. After using the Packtalk Neo for a few months, it has definitely made my learning experience more enjoyable, though there is a little room for improvement. The Pros Incredible Mesh Connectivity: The 2nd Gen Mesh technology is seamless. Even as a beginner, I found it incredibly easy to pair with other riders. If we get separated at a stoplight, it reconnects automatically the moment we’re back in range. Hands-Free Focus: The voice-activated system is a huge safety plus. I don't have to take my hands off the bars or fumble for buttons while I'm focusing on the road. Durability: I’ve been riding with this for a few months now and have been caught in one or two rainstorms; it is truly waterproof and hasn't skipped a beat. The Cons Speaker Tone: The 40mm speakers are very clear and get plenty loud for GPS instructions, but the sound is a little tinny. It lacks the bass I was hoping for, so music sounds a bit thin at highway speeds. Microphone & Voice Control: The mic is just okay, and as a result, the voice control can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes it picks up my commands perfectly, and other times I have to repeat myself once or twice—especially if there is a lot of wind noise. The Verdict The Packtalk Neo is a fantastic piece of tech for someone just starting out. After a few months of daily use, the safety of the voice commands and the reliability of the Mesh system far outweigh the sound quality gripes. It’s a dependable tool for any new rider's helmet.

Chat with the boys, jam while riding. Love it
Have not had a better investment as a rider besides protective gear. Love being able to jam and talk to my fellow riders. Very little issues, wish the speakers were a tad better. Plenty of volume, not great bass. But what can ya expect.

Best Bang for the buck
I went with the neo because it's the cheapest way to get a cardo with the mesh dmc. Even tho this is the cheapest option everything still sounds clear. Talking on the phone is a breeze with the noise cancelation.

Buy the Edge not the Neo! The USB-C Connection is a sub-optimal design.
I just finished a 3.5 week long motorcycle trip up into the Canadian Yukon and Northwest Territories, riding the Dempster Highway with two partners. My partners have Cardo Edge units and I had this Neo. About 10 days into the ride, my unit formed some sort of glitch and my partners could not hear me at all but they could hear every notification coming from my phone. This cost us about an hour of messing around trying to get it to work again. We finally figured out that if the USB C plug was swapped 180 degrees they could BARELY hear me if I yelled into the mic. Contacted Cardo support in the next town where I had cell phone coverage and they were very responsive but could not help me diagnose the problem in the field. I spend the rest of my trip yelling into my microphone and half the time they still couldn't hear me. We rode in rain, heavy dust and for many hours each day. Battery life on my unit was amazingly good but maybe that's because it wasn't working properly? I don't know. My partners experienced much lower than advertised battery life BUT they were able to charge the units while riding. The Neo does not support this so when the batter is dead, you're done communicating. If I had it to do over again I would buy the Edge and not the Neo. My concern with the Edge was the magnetic connection to the mount. I thought it might get knocked off but that's not a concern because it's clipped in just like the Neo. The spring loaded contacts on the Edge unit is a FAR superior design and there were no issues with regard to connections, dust resistance or water resistance. Cardo is sending me a replacement unit with no trouble so I'm happy about that. I may peddle the new one and get the Edge instead because of the problems I had using the Neo in extreme conditions. It's probably fine for those who never ride in dust or rain or extreme use situations.

Cardo Packtalk Neo - Single
The Cardo Packtalk Neo is a game-changer for riders who value clear communication on the road. With its impressive sound quality, it’s perfect for group rides or solo trips, providing crystal-clear audio even at highway speeds. The DMC (Dynamic Mesh Communication) system ensures stable connections with no drops, while the slim, lightweight design doesn’t interfere with helmet comfort. The controls are intuitive, and the installation process is straightforward. Whether you're navigating, taking calls, or jamming to music, the Packtalk Neo excels. It’s a top-tier choice for anyone looking to enhance their riding experience with seamless connectivity.
