Turn on the printer, heat up the temperature until the temperature of heat bed is 55℃, the temperature of extruder is 200℃. 3.Pull out of the filament. Press the pressure level, and pull push the filament then pull it out of the extruder. 4.Clean the nozzle. Press the ejector to make it go through the Tube until all the filament goes out of the nozzle.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating (printing)
Let's list the bad points first then we can move on to the good stuff:1) The LCD display was blank, again this didn't stop us from printing our first object. The next day we contacted Geeetech support and were given the go-ahead to correct the problem - which was - the LCD contrast potentiometer was set too high. The display module just unclips from the front of the printer. The LCD board can then be removed with 4 allen-screws at which point the pot can be adjusted. Just turn the printer on and adjust the pot until the display functions correctly.2) After twenty or so hours of printing one of the stepper motor cable looms started to exhibit chaffing. We cured this definitively using some insulation tape. Now the good stuff:1) The build quality, overall, is very high. The printer is delivered pre-assembled. The chassis of the printer is extremely sturdy and everything looks and feels very solid.2) Once the LCD was functioning correctly we soon discovered that the it was easy to pre-heat the table and the extruder and that all you need is your design on an SD card. Everything you need to do can be done through the LCD and control knob.3) The printer will print with a Z-axis (height) resolution of 0.05mm. This is amazingly fine and, once you understand how to set up print parameters, results in excellent 3D objects.4) Geeetech provide excellent technical support. This includes a forum with lots of useful information. It takes some trial and error in order to begin to obtain good results - don't despair. There are many parameters to adjusted. If you start a print which is obviously going to turn out to be horrendous just scrap it, re-think your settings and start again.Below are some photos including the initial blank LCD and the contrast pot adjusted LCD. The large pyramid was printed with a base of 10cmA great breakthrough came when we started adding a skirt to the print by means of the slicing software - this makes it easy to remove the print from the table. Before using skirts we had great difficulty and actually destroyed the blue paper table covering. We now use masking tape - it works perfectly.Happy object printing!

I love it!
I had been toying with the idea of getting this printer for a while, then when there was a money off offer, I could not resist any longer, and, wow what a printer. It is built brilliantly. I didn't bother connecting it up to my PC because I was happy to just print off the SD card. Yes, it doesn't have a massive print bed, but it's big enough for what I want. Yes, it does not have auto bed levelling, but after a couple of goes, it's so easy it goes really quickly now. Yes, it does not have wifi, but that's not an issue, actually I prefer printing from SD card because I have files stored on the SD card in case I ever need to print something again. It can be noisy when printing fast prints, but if you print at 0.1mm and slow down the travel speeds, it's not too bad. The kids have had a go designing their own things and printing then out too, which is so great for them to see their creations forming before their eyes. I've not had to contact tech support yet so can't comment on that. The manual was not on the SD card that comes with the printer, but I was able to download it off the website without an issue. It is very well laid out and having never owned a 3d printer before, I was able to follow them in order to get up and running. I use slic3r and seem to get on well with it. I've tweaked the settings for 0.1mm resolutions and seem to get great results. The manual will give you settings to print at 0.2mm which gives a great result too, but once you figure out what each setting does, it becomes clear which ones to change to improve the quality when printing at 0.1mm. I would recommend this printer, without hesitation.

The MeCreator 2 as my first 3d printer.
I have had this printer for a bit now and as I am a complete Newbie to 3d Printing I thought I would write this review. The printer came well packaged with the printbed and extruder well packaged. To get started I needed to unpackage the printer, plug in an extruder cable into the back of the printer.Remove a factory test print and then level the bed ( this is done with 3 wing nuts under the printbed ).Assemble the supplied spoolholder then feed the filament into the extruder head. ( I would recommend getting a roll of filament when you order your printer. You get some free but it is not very much, so I would get some PLA as your first filament to try ).Plug in the supplied SD card and had a go at printing the Geeetech logo on the SD card this came out reasonably well for a first print anyway. As this is my first 3d printer and if you choose it as your first printer I would recommend finding space in a spareroom to use it in. This is because the fans, motors and pulleys can be fairly noisy. They would probably annoy a family member watching the telly or reading a book. And I would not recommend using in a bedroom. This is because some prints can take hours and you might need to leave it running overnight. Don't get me wrong it is not ear splitting, but you would probably need some ear plugs or some sleeping pills if you choose to use one in your bedroom.I like the steel cubic shape of this printer it makes it easy to move out of the way and use something else on my workbench if the need arises. It is a nice solid steel frame with the control panel bottom left. This means if you need to tweak something mid-print you can comfortably rest your arm on the bench it is on. Plus also your arm does not obscure the view of the actual print on the printbed.I also have to say something about Geeetech after sales support which has been really great. I have been in touch with a real person on Facebook Messenger who has been really helpful with questions and some problems that I have had.Because from what I now know about 3d printing there will be some tweaking, some scratching of your head and maybe even some pulling of hair.Would I recommend this printer, yes I would and I know this is my first printer so I can't really compare it to any others. But it seems to satisfy a lot of what I wanted in a printer. Like it's footprint on my workbench is not too huge. The position of the control panel. It can be easily lifted out of the way if somebody wants to use the space it's taking up. The black sturdy steel frame it's built around. Reasonably good prints quickly with no assembly. Is it perfect as I have given it 5 stars well no nothing is really, but 4 stars was too low. At the minute it is slightly printing off-centre but Geeetech tech support has given some advice which I will try.And one last thing if your contemplating this as your first printer. Well at £330 this is at the top of the budget I was willing to spend. My thinking at this moment is that 3d printing will become a new hobby and the printer will NOT end up gathering dust like some sandwich toaster or an exercise bike. I have also not yet printed something that makes me go WOW! yet.But I am happy with a lot of the prints I have achieved with this printer and I am glad I chose this printer.
