I'm very fussy when it comes to tea but I love this! I like Earl Grey but I think it's a bit too strong and overpowering but I absolutely love the English No 1 tea. It's just so much more refreshing than regular tea - the delicate taste of bergamot, it's perfect. Another brand used to make a 'Breakfast' tea and it had a very subtle taste of bergamot in it but they changed their ingredients and it no longer has the subtle Earl Grey (bergamot) flavour....so that's why I started looking for an alternative..

Why did you choose this product over others?: Really like the Cardamom flavour teabags. The only issue is that the teabags have to be kept in an airtight container as they will lose flavour. Otherwise, a good product.

I’ve swapped my previous tea bags for these ones. I first had them at my mum’s and knew there was something different about them. There’s a faint floral taste which I later realised was bergamot. My family all say I have a very discerning palate , I’m not sure everyone would notice this subtle flavour . I don’t like herbal teas - I usually stick to decent black tea - but these are really refreshing without being overly perfumed. There’s no bitterness to them either. I now have them on subscription because I actually prefer them to other tea.

The best tea available. Feels like a posh cup of tea with the label but at a very good price. Very good flavour tea we get the breakfast/ English and earl grey too. Box great and tea bag looks classy.

One of the best english breakfast teas I have ever had, and it is an incredible value for the price. I highly recommend.

Very unstable can't even withstand kids shoes

Having lived a good 15 years in Sri Lanka before returning to Europe (Germany), I have struggled to find a high quality (and affordable) ceylon black tea. Having tried and tested many (and also through the usual Middle Eastern shops in nearby towns), this is by far the best black tea - and more affordable than in these shops (I have 2 packs delivered once a month - going through at least 6-8 tea bags a day). It is not too "Tar-like", the flavour is strong and flavorful but not bitter at all like some cheap black teas where you just get the tannins (mind, you, since I am accustomed to very strong and fresh tea I do use 2 tea bags), and it tastes like what you come to expect in Sri Lanka. I have tried other Ahmad teas but this is, by far, the best! So recommend specifically the no. 1 tea. It says it has a touch of bergamot - now, I don't mind earl grey once in a while but really, there is no strong bergamot flavour in this blend whatsoever, - but the flavour has great depth (which could be from a touch of bergamot)! Another great tea brand is Jaf tea (the premium selection) but this is more expensive.
