Osprey Fairview 40L Women's Travel Backpack, Black

Fantastic backpack i'm actually obsessed.Lightweight, very functional and comfy to wear. It fit everything I needed for an international week and a half trip. Backpack straps were great but I also carried it as a duffle bag with no problem. 10/10 value for the money & its good quality. Color was pretty even though i personally didn't care. Didn't have any issues bringing it on to planes (I've used it on both regular airlines & budget).

This backpack holds more than I thought possible. This was the only bag I took with me for a month long trip around Europe and it withstood being thrown around and stuffed to the brim. It also had adjustments everywhere on the straps so you could get it to sit super comfortably despite how much weight it is. I love this bag!!!

Great quality with lots of room. Bought for a trip to the UK where I’m trying to bring one bag. This bag will definitely work! The bag can be completely full and the design makes it not seem that heavy when carrying. It distributes the weight well. This wasn’t something I realized until it arrived but this is a bag that is designed for women’s bodies, and you can tell. It’s fantastic!

Purchased as a carry on travel backpack. High quality materials and great strap systems to synch down the pack. I especially like that the belt and shoulder straps can be stowed away.Flew on three different Asian airlines and none of them had an issue with the size.

Well made! I'm 5'7 and 130 lbs and it fits perfectly. I packed it using packing cubes for a 4 day trip ( included bulky sweaters), I still had room.

Pros:--Fantastic and adjustable suspension system. Carries like a backpacking pack, and not travel luggage.--Bombproof reliability backed up by a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty.--Relatively inexpensive (as these things go).Cons:Minimal organization. There's a main compartment, a laptop sleeve and a small (and not super useful) exterior pocket. You have to think strategically about where and how to pack "quick access" items. Otherwise, you're rummaging through the body of the pack.Overall, I'm happy with this pack. If you have a long or short torso, expect to carry stuff for some distance, and/or don't mind the lack of organizational features, this is a great choice. I'm happy with my purchase.

Made the trip to Africa for Safari and back. Traveled through many large and small regional airports and these held up like a champ. Still in great condition. Able to fit several days worth of clothes with shoes, toiletries. Good weight distribution with the belt clip.

I am such an Osprey fan! I have/ had 8 packs and the roll up toiletry bag. Love Osprey. So do my kids, they keep “stealing” my bags! LOL.When I first received this bag, I thought there was no way it was 40 liters. It is deceptively larger than it looks. I love that the harness system is adjustable. I am 5’4 with a shorter torso and I am in my 50s. Fully packed out, this bag was a bit heavy for me to carry with just the hand straps. However, the harness system made it feel like I was carrying very little!I bought the Peak Design (30-45L) bag for my 5’2” petite athletic daughter. That bag, while well made with some cool features, is very heavy, no load lifters and a hip belt not made for us short people! She promptly stole this Osprey from me! So…. I had to order another Osprey. I ordered the Osprey Fairview 36L wheeled bag. Can’t wait to get it!
