AffyBulb 7W G23 PLS Replacement UV Bulb,for Pond UVC Filters Machine or Clarifiers

A straight swap for the more expensive Blagdon branded bulb. Easily fitted and effective. I haven't had it fitted long enough to comment on it's longevity but efficacy is okay. The water has cleared to a level that exceeds my expectations. At this price I can exchange them more frequently if required and still be cost effective.

Excellent, great price paid for 2 bulbs the pind water is clear as clear can be.

High quality uv bulb for my pond filter set up, came nicely boxed and has been running now for 24 hours a day 7 days a week for months, pond is crystal clear, it has proved it's reliability.

Updated see photos = There is one draw back.....Excellent replacement UV bulb for my blagdon filter system, bright UV light, super easy to install, works perfect, ready for the summer to keep the algae growth under control BUT.. the bulbs work great while they are working but the Bulbs don't last, I just replaced the bulb again and this will be the 3rd bulb since March 2025, I'd say the bulbs for me have been lasting on avarage 2-3 months before they blow which is quite poor as I always used to change other bulbs once every 12 months, they work well but lifespan is very poor compared to others

After setting up a new pond early 2025 I left the UV clarifier off to help establish the pond. In December when I was expecting water to naturally self clear it didn't, so I installed my UV light (new last year, Hozelock Vorton) and ordered these new bulbs from Amazon. Switched everything on and bulbs were lit, and as it is December and cold, I was expecting everything to clear up quickly. It has now been two weeks and as you can see from the photo, my pond has not cleared in the slightest and remains very green. Two weeks at this time of year is more than adequate amount of time to make some form of noticeable difference with a working UV. I run adequate filtration and pump size, but these bulbs have made no difference at all. The bulbs do light up, but clearly are not working correctly.

Brought some builds from other company previously and they were very poor quality, in terms of life span and starting. This seems so much better.

Todo correcto. Funciona perfectamente. El año pasado pedí otra igual y fue igual de bien. Cada lámpara viene durando un año con uso diario de más de doce horas para desinfectar el agua y eliminar las algas microscópicas del estanque de los peces.
