Used 2 grades of paper today, to smooth some routed edges down on a piece of MDF. & has done a great job. These are as good quality as any I have used in the past.

Bought these for use on my MFT table. Excellent quality, lots of uses from painting items to routing. the only problem is that the risers are a little loose in the MFT holes. I got round this by using 20 mm heat shrink tubing on the risers to thicken them out. Had to use 2 layers to get a tight fit. As someone with very limited workspace I often have to use a couple of portable workbenches for many aspects of woodworking. The ability to raise pieces off a workbench at different heights for different tasks is thus useful. I had good expectations of this kit with the Rockler name behind it and Taiwanese manufacturing. Sadly I found it a little shoddy. Several of the cookies had their foam surfaces applied off-centre. Threads on 4 of the XL risers were poorly cut, causing them to stick when screwing into a cookie. Why that should be is mystifying as the remaining threads were smooth and the cookies spun down the thread freely. Then there is the question of why include 8 cookies, 8 painting cones, 8 XL risers, but only 4 standard risers? Why not 8 of everything? The kit was supplied in a small'ish box with the cookies stacked inside in 2 plastic tubes - a good way of preventing damage to them. In use they are very good, holding work pieces well. The different heights, 26, 54, & 79mm, allow for tasks such as jigsaw & circular saw cutting without damaging the workbench. Likewise, when painting or varnishing. Overall I do recommend these despite the poor finishing on some items. Are they worth the £56 paid? Probably, but only just. Better QA and 8 of everything would improve that opinion.

A great idea that works well. So many combinations absolutely love it. Not the cheapest product but defiantly worth having.

To get eight cookies, eight caps for painting, eight doubled ended risers (they give different heights depending on which end is attached to a cookie) and eight standard risers / short pegs for the price is, I think, really good value. The cookies stay put on the bench with very little loading. The four short pegs are described as 'Standard Risers' and are for attaching two cookies back to back to raise the work off the bench (see picture), hence there are only four of them. You can of, course also use those short pegs to stop four of the cookies being moved accidentally by locating the short pegs in dog holes. The four short pegs and the eight double ended risers are designed for 19 mm dog holes, not 20 mm that I think has become a de facto standard, so they are very wobbly when in 20 mm holes. They still wobble a little in 19 mm / 0·75 inch holes. I don't think that this will matter when using the 'standard risers' as locating pegs but you may want to shim the double ended risers, particularly if you have 20 mm dog holes.

Werkt perfect zoals het hoort, kan nu heel gemakkelijk platen zagen zonder dat ik mijn werkbank beschadigd. Ook met het frezen gaat super makkelijk. Echt een aanrader, elke cent waard!

Un peut cher à l'achat, mais tout y est pour travailler par dessus un établi de menuisier. Les support sont nombreux ce qui permet une grande modularité et de multiple combinaison pour peindre, découper ou travailler au dessus de la surface de mon établi. Le tout est en plastique, c'est un peut mon reproche, même si le plastique est solide. Conclusion, cela permet une grande modularité, évite de salir mon workbench et permet d'utiliser la scie circulaire portative plus facilement car l'espace de travail de mon établie est de ce fait préservé.

Brilliant bench dogs, should have bought them long ago. For the record, they are made to fit 19mm holes, which is perfect for my bench. Great quality, would buy these again in a heartbeat
