This is my second strap. My husband took my first strap to do his stretches I bought another one for my yoga classes. The loops are much better for me than a plain strap. I don't have to twist the plain strap in my hands a few times to get better resistance. All I do now is grab onto the loops for more resistance. Much easier on the hands as well.
