Fox 40 Sonik Blast

Great item. Staff in a school setting. The kids hate it, but it focuses their attention.

I am a lifeguard and this whistle is perfect as it is by far the loudest one in a very busy pool, all other lifeguards asking which one it is because it's so good. Had this for 3 months of high intensity use and showing no signs of wear or performance drop

This is a bright colour and gives me the chance to stand out on the field! The protective mouthpiece feels comfortable in the mouth and the pitch of the whistle is ideal for louder events (I referee in football stadiums). I find this slightly easier to blow than other comparable whistles (Fox 40 classic I cannot get on with for example). I find this whistle allows a variation of tone, but doesn't 'die' out mind blow.

This is a great whistle, and am glad I purchased it. Only minor issue was that the Breakaway Lanyard was not included in the package, but I have been in contact with the seller and they will send one out.

I came across these at a Hockey tournament when it was very windy & the only whistle you could hear was this one. It also has the soft mouth grip which is kinder to use. if you go out on the fells & need to be heard this is the whistle for you.

Well its VERY LOUD! Nice quality and comfortable to use. Works when wet. I keep it attached to my PFD when canoeing and thankfully have never used it.

I'm not sure what else I could ask for. It works as expected.

No chance it won't work thanks to the design. Has a sound that will catch your attention and carry very far. And yes, it is .....LOUD!!!. Don't recommend a hard blast with it indoors. Outdoors it is just what you want. The lanyard is handy though I think I might like it better if it were 6 inches longer. Still not enough to knock off a star. I like the bright visible color of the one I chose in neon. While plastic it is somewhat softer and therefore a bit tougher than hard brittle plastic of some other whistles. Highly recommended especially for use on the water. Have it with me when I kayak. Also I definitely recommend getting one with the rubber mouth guard or as I refer to it the teeth guard. Definitely helps to hold it in your teeth with the soft rubber coating. Mine came with the rubber mouth guard unlike some who apparently received one without it. I also plan to use it walking or biking to stop aggressive dogs. Just haven't had the chance to try it out that way yet.
